Cottage holiday rentals in Shikoku

Pas facile à trouver (il vaut mieux prévoir d’arriver de jour) mais vaut vraiment le détour !! Accueil sympathique, cadre idyllique. Parfait en famille. On peut y faire du jet ski, du paddle avec une plage de sable blanc, une piscine. Rien ne manque avec le confort de la climatisation avec vue sur la mer. Il vaut mieux prévoir de faire ses courses avant car assez isolé.

C'est beau, soigné, directement sur l'océan, avec une grande terrasse et un jacuzzi. L'intérieur est en bois, chaleureux et convivial pour 4 personnes. Une adresse merveilleuse (même lorsqu'il pleut toute la journée comme lors de notre passage)

Un seul regret : ne pas avoir eu le temps d'y passer une deuxième nuit. Notre hôte a été très prévenant, et sa guest house est à son image : élégante et charmante :-)

My family of 5 stayed here to get away from the busy streets of Tokyo during our Japan trip. This was a great vacation home right on the ocean. Photos don’t do it justice. Also Takamatsu is a beautiful place. Check out the temples and explore the area. Also shop at 2nd street for amazing thrift finds.

屋主花4年半親手建造的木屋及花園，就是有一種很不同的溫度，我們晚上10時才到，屋主等我們並帶我們入住，熱情地介紹屋內設施，及送我們香檳與小吃，非常之窩心！ 由於天黑入住，田野間路面狹窄，加上沒有路燈，宜小心開車。黑夜中也看不到風景，但翌日早上醒來，從玻璃窗看外表花園，就會有很大驚喜，花園景色優美，加上陽光，一流！ 碗碟餐具也同樣講究，顯出屋主的品味！ 入住這間民宿，不宜住一個晚上，也不宜早出晚歸，最少也住兩晚，而且多些時間留在屋內，或到附近田野走走，早晨可以到溪流中間的堤上坐下，靜聽流水聲響做冥想，是一流享受！ 不過由於房屋是在田野中間，少不免有蚊蟲飛進屋內，出入大門宜快速，不能中門大開，否則蚊蟲飛進屋內就有點麻煩。 屋內有CD唱機及很多CD唱片，都是老歌及音樂，值得聽聽，會讓你回到過去。 屋主還幫我們拍照，離開時晒了實體相片給我們，這種做法已不大存在於現代，難得。

Such a beautiful, comfortable villa with stunning surrounding views and super peaceful. Could have stayed there for longer! Kazu was super informative from the moment of booking telling us useful information about the area including the fact that there aren’t many restaurants so we were prepared in advance and knew to go to the supermarket which Kazu also provided directions to. Would stay again if I was ever to do the shimanami kaido route again!

すぐに対応もしていただいて、とても満足です！ テレビもNetflixやYouTubeも見れて、子供連れでも全然大丈夫でした！ 車で5分ほどのところに小さいスーパーもありました。車も2台止めれるし、中もとっても綺麗でした！また機会があれば利用したいです！

とてもお洒落なトレーラーハウス！非日常的で海外に来たような気分も味わえます！ お部屋はとても綺麗にお掃除されていてとても気持ちが良かったです！ お食事も注文したのですが、ボリュームたっぷりでとても美味しかったです！ 犬も一緒に泊まらせて頂けて助かりました！また泊まりたいなと思うお宿でした！

Amazing place to stay in the mountains. The porch has incredible scenery with no one around. Overall good spot to explore Iya valley and highly recommend going on the SUP tour as the host was an excellent instructor.

景色最高でした！ 楽しく過ごせたのでよかったです！ 一つあげるとしたら駐車場が少しわかりづらかったです。

ベッドが4台あり、大人4人でくつろいで寝られる良いコテージでした。テラスでのBBQもとても美味しかったです。お風呂は離れですが充分な広さで、コテージ専用にはもったいない感じでした。 今回は朝食がなかったので近くのコメダ珈琲店に行きましたが、混んでました。せっかくなので、キッチンかテラスで何か作って食べれば良かったです。 天気もよく山の中ですが景色はきれいでした。アウトドア用品なしで自然を感じながら過ごすことができ、とてもリフレッシュできました。

We had a fantastic stay! Our host was incredibly friendly and even helped us with our luggage upon request. The cottage is situated in a peaceful and quiet location, near the beach and away from town, and it comfortably accommodates our family of three and up to eight people. While the stairs are a bit narrow and steep for carrying large luggage up to the first floor, the rest of the cottage was clean and well-equipped. If you plan to cook at the cottage, it's wise to plan ahead as there are no nearby grocery stores. The location is excellent for exploring the museum route and is conveniently near a bus stop, making it easy for us to travel around the island using public transportation. Overall, a lovely experience!

大人4人、子供(小学生)4人の8人で利用させていただきました。子供達は大喜びで、大人も大満足でとても楽しく過ごせました。 お部屋は綺麗で食器類も充実しており、着替えと食料だけ持っていけば大丈夫です。

家族でゆったり、瀬戸内海を満喫できる旅行におすすめです〜水遊び・SUP・釣りなどにもピッタリです。 Hiroshiさんとのやりとりがとてもスムーズで対応がとても丁寧でした。5泊滞在したのですが必要なものは全てそりっていて、本格的な料理も行えるような道具がたくさんありました。 海に入ったとび外付けシャワー、ウッドデッキのバーベキュー・くつろぎ用スペースも最高でした。 レンタルサイクルを活用して島を一周したり、近くの砂浜で海水浴も楽しめました。 Hiroshiさんに地元の方も紹介していただいて、半日の船釣りツアーまで企画していただきました。 おかげさまで最高の夏休みが過ごせました。 ありがとうございました！
