Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shimane

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb! It was close enough to the city to walk around, but the house itself was very cozy with lots of nature surrounding it. The host was very helpful to answer all of my question. We did have trouble calling taxis with the popular apps, but we were able to flag them down pretty quickly. Our host even called us a taxi after checkout which was very helpful. The hill up to the house is a bit of a workout, so stretch beforehand lol! I would definitely stay again.

Really nice traditionnal house close to Okunoshima island (5min walking from the ferry and train station). The host is really nice and responsive. The house is above a delicious italian-japanese fusion restaurant. The chief was really nice and helful.

Yuto is such a warm host! The house has everything and is spotless. It is spacious and comfortable inside and has a charming garden. We borrowed Yuto's bicycles to go around the neighborhood. We rode along the river and the fields, and visited a few shrines in the mountains, and I was not surprised if I met Totoro. Everywhere is so beautiful, and locals are very friendly. I got a flat tire at some point, and Yuto came to my rescue immediately, which was so nice of him. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it if you love nature and want something authentic away from the city.

這次入住的民宿真的超乎預期，給予滿分10分的推薦！房屋內的設施設備非常齊全，家用物品應有盡有，從廚房的餐具、雪櫃到各種電子設備，應有盡有；浴室更是貼心，配備了浴缸、洗衣機、晾衫的地方，甚至連細緻的馬桶上都有為殘疾人士設計的扶手，還有多功能暖氣冷氣可供選擇，還有乾燥功能，無論天氣如何都能保持舒適。房間和空間特別大，住的時候甚至有一次在屋內迷路，感覺像住進了一座小宮殿！後院也非常寬敞，適合休憩或活動。最令人印象深刻的是屋內的清潔程度，赤腳走動完全感覺不到塵灰，乾淨得讓人放心。 房東的服務更是加分之處！他們會主動詢問客人幾時到達，還會在客人來到的時候親自等候，展現了極高的熱情。英文溝通也非常流利，10分滿分，沒有任何障礙。房東還會主動介紹周邊的食肆和遊樂設施，讓我們迅速融入當地生活。此外，屋內準備了很多宣傳單張，遊客可以自行參閱，選擇感興趣的景點或餐廳，實用又方便。 唯一的小小不便之處是，如果自駕而來，屋子旁邊的停車場停車有點挑戰，空間有限可能需要多花點時間找位子。但除了這個細節，其他方面真的是完美無懈！最驚喜的是，這樣的房子價格卻非常便宜，性價比高得令人難以置信。整體體驗非常愉快，強烈推薦給想要舒適住宿又注重性價比的旅人，絕對值得一住！

We had a great stay, host was very welcoming, house is beautiful with lots of space and very clean. Host even left birthday present for our son which was very thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Mayumi’s place is perfect for those wanting a traditional experience and is a great location for soaking up the history of Hiroshima. Mayumi is very welcoming and the local knowledge she helpfully shared led to us having a great stay. Thanks Mayumi!

説明に記載どおりのとても清潔で設備が整った部屋でした。トラムの駅が近く広島市内中心部へのアクセスが良いです。また、最終電車が12時過ぎまであるので時間を気にせず飲食できました。 幹線道路が近く車でのアクセスも良いです。 24時間オープンのコンビニエンスストアもすぐ近くにあります。 問い合わせへのホストの対応も丁寧で素早かったので安心して利用することができました。 また広島に来る機会があれば利用したいと思います、

Ce logement est très sympathique. en effet proche de la gare, du château, des bus et d'excellents restaurants je conseille vivement l'emplacement. surtout que le logement est très confortable avec 2 lits et une grande baignoire. la communication est très facile a avoir avec l'hôtel et les descriptions et explications sont très détaillés avec des astuces.

Perfect place to stay in Hiroshima! Clear and convenient, near the park and you can easily walk there within 10 minutes. Quick response and so helpful! We really enjoyed our stay here and I will definitely consider to stay here again next time!

This place is amazing! Excellent location in central Hiroshima with connections to a lot of the sights. A little high up w/out an elevator and it can heat up without AC pretty fast but Fits-Field makes the former very clear and the latter is too be expected. Absolutely the most space we've had in a Japanese AirBnB or hotel so we were more than welcome to stay here. The view is also very nice at sunset!

This apartment was very nice, not as small as the photos may look. It has plenty of space and only a minute walk from peace park memorial. On the other side there is a shopping strip with great food and beautiful views. The apartment itself was easy to find and all the information for checking in that I needed was sent to me prior to arriving. The television has Netflix and the kitchen has all necessary items for cooking. I give this place 5 stars and would definitely stay again if I ever come back to Hiroshima. I struggle to find any flaws and am genuinely happy.

Great find, had a spur of the moment trip to Hiroshima to do basic tourist stuff and the flat was a short walk away. Got in quite late but host was responsive and a short 5-10min taxi ride, flat was easy to find. clean, really comfy bed and lovely drip coffee provided. Would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at the flat. It was spotlessly clean (probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed at!), had everything we needed and was very well organised! Check in was easy and Tsukasa was always very quick to respond. The place was nice and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here and wish we could’ve stayed longer. If I was coming back to Hiroshima, I would book this again in a heartbeat!

家族6人で利用しました。 宮島を観光してから市内に入りこちらにお世話になりました。レンタカーでしたが、すぐ隣にコインパーキングがあって子どもおろしたり荷物おろしたりとても便利でした。非接触のチェックインもスムーズでした。 お部屋は広くてベットも綺麗で素敵でした。 翌日は平和記念公園、原爆ドームに行きましたが、とても近くて便利でした。

Great place to stay! We really loved it here, super clean, spacious and a lovely little balcony. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We were here to bike the Shimanami Kaido and this was a great location for that. Thanks for having us!

The place was basic, but squeaky clean and in the perfect location. Restaurants right in the same building and all around. Walkable to all the sights. And the price is right, so it’s a great value. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and the location worked well for our biking the Shimanami Kaido. It is just a few blocks from the train station, a large grocery store, and bike rental shops. The restaurants in the area are just okay but this is expected for being a smaller town. The property was fairly clean, a little dusty in some places but generally fine. The beds were not very comfortable - pillows were thin and felt worn down. Overall, this is a good basic place to rest while exploring the area but nothing fancy.

Great place to stay, amazing host that went above and beyond to get us the room we wanted and we really enjoyed staying here while biking the Suminami Kaido. Would recommend!
