Monthly Rentals in Shiroki dol

I stayed with Laura and Koci for 2 months to write my book - and it got done! This place is great if you want to have few modern-life distractions. During the week you are completely isolated in the mountains, and beautiful walks are on your doorstep. The dogs are very friendly and keep you company in the week, they do like attention! There were occasional irregularities with the services - water, electric, internet etc. - this is part of BG countryside, and the hosts did everything they could to sort it out. At the weekends, the family return and it is a buzzing hive of Bulgarian country life activity - so perhaps more like a room share in a larger family house. You can travel to the local town on public transport for food etc. - I did the whole 2months without a car and was fine, the village has the basics and the people in the village are very friendly to foreigners. My partner stayed occasionally, both the hosts and the village are LGBTQ+ friendly. Laura and Koci did everything they could to ensure my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed to write my book. Laura is super friendly and checks in regularly that all is good. I would easily recommend this stay if you're looking for somewhere quiet on the foot of the mountains....possibly to write a book...

Irena was an amazing host. Extremely helpful, polite, and always responded immediately! The place was spotless. Everything seems to be brand new. Fully equipped as described. 100% recommended to everyone :) We will definitely be back! *If you are skiers, it is only a 10-15 min drive from Borovets!😁

Amazing and homely place. Much more beautiful than the pictures. The house was clean, tidy and very welcoming. We enjoyed sitting in the living room and seeing the snow outside. Communication with Grisha was excellent. He was always available and helped us with everything. I highly recommend this apartment.

It is definitely a 5 star flat and perfect a 4 people family to stay. We debated about staying in Borovets ski resort or drive in everyday from Mountain studio (23 mins drive). And we think we could not have done better than we did! Everything in the flat is top quality. Everything is spotless. We arrived in -16 late in the evening and Alex was assuring us over the phone front the airport not to rush and drive safely. When we arrived there are plenty of basics to wait for us to have an easy late night arrival. Milk, juice, water, snacks for the children. Everything helped us to settle down quickly and be ready for the next morning. Alex recommended restaurants for us and they were all such great treats and half the price you'd pay in Borovets. Perfect that they were on way back from Borovets on way home. We have couple of pasta meals at theflat. If we are skiing again in Borovets we will do the same, stay at Mountain Studio,as we would not have liked the loud buzzing night life.
