Ard Cuan

Had a wonderful week as a family with two small children. Excellent place with everything we needed as a base to explore the wonderful Isle of Arran. House had everything we needed and was comfortable in all weather conditions (rain and sun!), and was situated in a peaceful complex of similar properties. Well set up for families and we would definitely return

Burncliff

We loved our stay. Great location, not far from Brodick and so close to the local beach! (Amazing beach too) The house was more spacious than I thought it would be. Was worried with 4 adults and 4 kids we’d be a bit cramped, but no fear. We hardly used the sitting room and still plenty of space. Nice to have a back garden for the kids to run around in. Was really impressed with Arran too as this was our first stay. If we come back, will definitely check whether this place is available!

Rosa yurt, Isle of Arran

We had a lovely weekend on Arran. The yurt was really spacious and clean, even with 3 kids and dogs in tow! The facilities were perfect for what we needed. The communication was excellent. We had a really lovely stay and will be back to Arran in the future!

Wishing Well, Isle of Arran

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Despite being next to a pub it was a quiet location and the living room and main bedroom particularly spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were fine and we had plenty of hot water for two of us. Ideally you would need a car here although we saw several service buses which stopped outside the pub. It was a short walk to the beach from the house but you can’t see the beach from the house. There was a padded bench outside the front of the accommodation which was in the sun for most of the day. We were there when the weather was glorious and despite the blinds, the bedroom was bright as day by just after 5am. If like us you are used to a dark bedroom take the one at the back of the house to avoid an early wake up (or bring an eye mask!!!) We would return. Also plan for shopping and petrol as you need to travel for both… it’s a long time since a wee guy appeared to dispense petrol! Worth stocking up before ferry!

A characterful home overlooking the wonderful loch

LawrenceRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Fernbank is a wonderful, comfortable house, situated on a quiet street lined with old stone mansions. The views of the harbor are superb. The furnishings are colorful and imaginative, with a retro 70s feel. The many luxurious touches reflect the fact that this is Michelle’s real house, which she lives in half the year. All four of us, golfers from the United States, loved it.

Quiet Retreat in Whiting Bay

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We’re just home from a 3 night stay here and this accommodation was just perfect! It’s set in a beautiful spot, surrounded by hills, greenery and with views of the sea. The entire place is extremely well cared for; we went with our toddler and baby and it was perfectly spacious for all 4 of us, (though it also has a wonderful cosy cottage feel to it)! The beautiful garden and decking look out to the sea; the rooms are all on one level; the kitchen and bathroom were pristine; and the sofas and beds were extremely comfy (the bedrooms having the softest carpet we’ve ever felt)! The location was also perfect - it’s a 2 minute (if that) drive down to Whiting Bay beach and The Shore cafe which we loved; a 20 minute drive to/from Brodick (great for the castle and ferry connections) and generally easy to find. David and Catrina were also such friendly, informative and accommodating hosts! We couldn’t recommend their place more and will certainly be back!
