Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shizuoka

Great stay with 4 friends. Much better than we expected. Will stay again for sure next time we are in town from Tokyo.

This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

Shoko and her family provided an incredibly welcoming experience for my group. The house was very clean upon arrival, had plenty of room for the entire group, and had everything we needed throughout our stay. Shoko was extremely communicative and timely with responses throughout our trip and made us feel right at home. If we ever go back to the Mt. Fuji area, we'll be staying here!

Great place with a private jungle vibe but just minutes away from the beautiful beaches. Very quiet and clean and wonderful hosts. They were kind enough to give me a ride to the train station as it was raining Monday of departure. Fun little surf town… Little warning “ cash is king in this town”… the taxi only takes cash! lol

The ceiling was high, and the room was open, so I had a very comfortable time.The host was also very kind, and I was really grateful for the thoughtful consideration of having a baby with me.It was a wonderful place to stay that I would definitely like to use again.

The host was kinder and I had a very pleasant stay. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. You can put a few motorbikes in the dirt at the entrance, so I think it is very suitable as a base for touring! Now I want to stay with a little more people!

I used it on a trip with a friend. Very beautiful and stylish guest house, very satisfied! We were able to have a BBQ and fireworks, and it was a very good memory. I would like to use it again.

We had a wonderful stay at Haostay Fujikawaguchiko — the house is spacious, spotless, and perfect for a group of 7–10 people. I really loved the layout; it has that cozy Japanese charm with a clean, modern touch. The amenities were more than sufficient, and the kitchen worked well (though I recommend asking how to use the appliances before stocking up on groceries). The location is very convenient — just a short walk to the lake (5 mins walk), yagizaki park (10-15 mins walk) and a nearby 7-Eleven (5 mins walk). It’s about a 10-minute drive or a 25-ish minute walk to Kawaguchiko Station. Do note that catching a local bus or taxi from the property can be a bit tricky, so I highly recommend booking a taxi in advance if you’re traveling with large luggage. Chihiro was a super helpful and responsive host — I truly appreciated the support. Definitely recommend this place, and I hope to return someday!

Our stay in Hakone was very pleasant. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which had a great atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner were offered on-site, which was both convenient and delicious. There’s a cozy shared lounge on the ground floor, as well as a terrace with a beautiful view of the Japanese garden – a perfect spot to relax. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly come back.

It was a last-minute reservation, but I was relieved to hear back from you right away.The guidebook and check-in were smooth and easy to understand, and there was everything I needed in the kitchen and bath.The guests at the inn were happy to rent a fire pit, free firewood, and clean linens.I was also happy to be considerate of the room.Thanks for your hospitality.I'm coming back

Katsuhiro was amazing. He personally drove our things back to us when it was hard to get a taxi and made the stay wonderful. The location is beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean with refrigerator, sink, and very comfortable bed. It is so cool how they have animals around you can interact with and the beautiful Fuji view!

From all places that i have stayed during my trip, this place is the best. The amenities and furniture provided was clean and comfortable. The house vibes was very chilly and relaxing. I loved that its in the 1st floor, so no need to struggle with carrying heavy luggages. Its also nearby to train station, even with heavy bags, its okay. I will definitely repeat this place again.

Very nice staff and perfect location to hike Fuji/see the falls. It was more of a hostel style for the rooms but still very accommodating. Would absolutely stay again.

Thank you to my invisible craftsman host!Small but well-equipped and attentive: reading desk lamps, large leather sofa seats and cushions, and induction hobs.In particular, the host has a lot of compliments with a bicycle in good condition, so I can shop and eat in Numazu City and go to the station is very convenient, and there is a feeling of staying at home on the street by bicycle.Overall, this is a great value for money to go shopping in Gotemba, go to Hakone bubble soup, see Mt. Fuji from afar, and go to Izu Peninsula.

This place is very clean, cosy, and close to the station. Perfect!

Our party of 8 (one infant and one preschooler) has a wonderful time in this property. the house itself was in a quiet and peaceful location just less than a minute drive from the lake. the kitchen was well provided for and the living area expansive enough to fit the entire group. we had bbq dinners with a decently stocked supermarket just under 10min drive away. in a clear day you can see the peak of mt fuji from the balcony. the hosts were very thoughtful and the baby cot was comfortable enough for the little one. one of the highlights is the hot bath and the sauna, both of which were used on both nights. we would love to come back and stay again if we have the opportunity! the hosts were very responsive and very easy to communicate with. a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

Phenomenal property. Perfect home for my huge family of 9 with 3 kids. The 2 private onsens were well loved by the family! & don’t get me started on the breathtaking panoramic view of the Hakone mountain range! 5/5 would recommend this property to anyone!

It was nice to feel like a clean, spacious and luxurious villa.I realized that it would be more convenient to have a dryer during my trip.The TV didn't work, but it was good to play records and play with my family.I was prepared for insects in advance, but I was able to deal with it with ants and small spiders. The place to play was also a short drive away, and I wanted to stay longer because it was two nights.

I was allowed to spend very comfortably.I stayed with my 8-month-old baby, and I was able to stay without any inconvenience.Also, the host was very helpful in answering questions.I would like to stay there again.

Love this beautiful house. We are lucky to have two beautiful day to see the full Fuji mountain from the back yard. The house is better than I expected. It’s spacious and has everything u need well prepared. of course most important is the huge backyard with the view of the Fuji mountain. So rare and beautiful. It’s a perfect getaway from the city life. I also really enjoyed the bathtub. Water power is great.

In June, I stayed with my daughter, her husband, and my grandchild, a total of 7 people.We were given clear information on how to use the sauna and BBQ stove, and recommended spots in the neighborhood before our stay, so the preparation went smoothly, and the sauna was able to be heated up immediately after arrival, so everyone was able to relax.Although I was looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji, it was cloudy, but the surrounding area was very quiet and I could enjoy forest bathing while listening to the birds chirping. The interior is very organized, and the kitchen in particular was fully equipped, so if you plan to bring ingredients, you can cook your own meals. There was also a small child, but there were toys so they were not bored, and they were happy to enjoy the fireworks outside. Shuzenji Onsen is about 15 minutes away by car, and after we soaked our feet in the footbath, ate, and walked around the onsen town, we bought ingredients and firewood nearby and headed back.There are also shops nearby where you can shop, so it was very convenient. Excellent job this time!I was able to spend a fun time with my family in a natural environment.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity (^ ^)
