Breathtakingly beautiful views from every window. Even my 6 month old daughter enjoyed walking up and staring at the trees outside the bedroom window. So many great ways to unwind and recharge. Only thing to note is it’s a bit far from restaurants and stores so taxing was the way to get around for us since we had a baby and stroller to tote. Otherwise location and buses would’ve been convenient.

Generally. We have a great stay here. If you wish to experience the vibe house of Japanese style (for foreigners like me) with breathtaking view of Mount Fuji (yeah they are not scam - their unit Is exactly giving spectacular Mt Fujisan!) - then in summary this unit a must place to book 😍

It's a traditional Japanese house. It is very well decorated and can easily accommodate 4 guests. When the weather is nice, there is a nice view of Mount Fuji from the house. It's 2 minutes from a beautiful temple. Namely that the house is about 5km from kawaguchiko station, so I would recommend renting a car to be self-sufficient and strolling around Mount Fuji without taking the buses (easy to park): I would 100% recommend this place.

This beautiful home has a soul and has a story to tell. The moment we walked inside we knew that these walls were special. It is a beautiful mixture of tradition and warmth that transports you to a world that I have only seen from movies or anime; giving you an opportunity to experience a peaceful and authentic side of Japan that is beyond words. We greatly enjoyed our time here and walking through the surroundings of the town to view the sea, Mt Fuji and the cherry blossom trees from the gorgeous surrounding hills not only gives you a sense of inner peace, but it also revitalizes your spirit. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be growing up in a beautiful old home like this one. I highly recommend this place and greatly treasure the experience that it gives to people that welcome buildings with rich history and peaceful neighborhoods that go beyond the usual tourist experience.

The ceiling was high, and the room was open, so I had a very comfortable time.The host was also very kind, and I was really grateful for the thoughtful consideration of having a baby with me.It was a wonderful place to stay that I would definitely like to use again.

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Except that you have to walk a bit to Chiyo house (around 10+ minutes, which is actually a good exercise for us), everything is perfect as described. She is definitely a superhost

This Airbnb was by far the best place my partner and I had the opportunity to stay at. Gorgeous amount of open space. Easy to access from the street and great privacy. Our hosts were extremely accomodating and very helpful with any questions we had. The location was perfectly situated for what we had planned for our trip and close to restaurants and convenience stores. The check-in / check-out process was extremely simply. The hosts also provided us with instructions on how to use all amenities within the property to make it easier for us to feel comfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to relax and experience a cozy stay. I would love to stay here again in the future.

A very nice and spacious place to stay. Air conditioning and washer with dryer function were very helpful and convenient. Mr. Kobayashi of Skyland was very friendly and helpful. Hamamtsu train station is a bit away from the accommodation without a car. If possible, he drove us to the train station or picked us up from there. Otherwise we took the taxi. Bikes are at your disposal. Mr. Kobayashi also thought about what could please my 8-year-old daughter's activities. We gratefully took home many beautiful memories.

This is the coolest and most unique experience ever. My friends and i booked out this entire place, it was like having a hotel without workers. The kitchen is an awesome commercial kitchen and the onsen fit all of us. The coolest part was having the rooms with a beautiful view and sharing this experience with our friends. The host is so accommodating and nice, and we made some great memories here. The beach and mountaintop is a cool bonus. We want to book here again!

This is my first time choosing a tour, I am happy to make this choice, the transportation is convenient, the house is fully equipped, the decor is beautiful and unique, I can also meet friends from all over the world, I had a pleasant two nights here, I hope I can come back as soon as possible

The room was spacious and I enjoyed it as much as I could with a large group.The kitchen was also spacious and the tension increased.

It is my second time to stay in this hostel and everything is excellent. The house is very close to the bus station and Lake Yamanakako, so you can rely on public transportation to arrive here from Tokyo. The room is quiet and clean, and the public space is also large and convenient. The host provides nearby restaurants recommendations and bike rental as well. Definitely recommend for travelers.

Our family of 8 had a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... as soon as we entered the house was deeply attracted... it was a little late for us to arrive... but the homeowner was still very warmly hosting us... not forgetting to remind us to be careful on the way to come... because it snowed in the mountain lake that day... our family's first snowing experience was here The experience is... really mesmerized by the amazing snow scenery around... Although you can't see Fuji but get a very fascinating snow view... It's very close to the individual net red punch point of Yamanaka Lake... but this trip we didn't get the chance to see the charming Mt.Fuji... hopefully we'll have the chance to come back again in the future... and see the different beauty of Mt. Fuji... I'm here very, very very Recommended for people staying at this cozy homestay… there will be a next time only if there is regret..

Great stay for one evening, spacious room with authentic Japanese style feel. Mats on the floor were comfy, very informative on check-in with a list of guides to local attractions and eateries. Nice getaway from the busy Tokyo. Would stay here again :)

The BBQ was good if only the ingredients were prepared, and the price was conscientious.

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
