Holiday rentals with lake access in Japan

Very quiet home in Koto city, Tokyo. Walkable to some good restaurants and a grocery store as well as a corner 7-eleven. About a 13 minute walk to the train station. Easy and safe to navigate. Eric was a very flexible and responsive host! We enjoyed our stay.

Generally. We have a great stay here. If you wish to experience the vibe house of Japanese style (for foreigners like me) with breathtaking view of Mount Fuji (yeah they are not scam - their unit Is exactly giving spectacular Mt Fujisan!) - then in summary this unit a must place to book 😍

What a pleasure to stay in a house after 10 days of Japanese small hotel rooms! 1.      The general atmosphere is warm, peaceful, comfortable and lovely. A lot of interesting objects and decoration. 2.      Real kitchen with all the necessary utensils and lovely Japanese dishes 3.      Good bed 4.      Music room with a vinyl player, classical vynils and art books. 5.      Coffee machine that makes the best coffee we drank in Japan. 6.      Mosquito nets on the windows. 7.      Birds singing outside. 8.      Walking distance of a family mart superette with all the necessary 9.      The owners took us from the station to the house and back on departure. We used the bus from Okayama, quite easily. 10. Electric bicycles are available 11. Distance from the house to Uno port (ferry to the islands) : 20 minutes cycling (easy, apart from the last slope to the house). At Uno port, direct ferry to Naoshima (20 min) and to Teshima (30 min). We wish to find other places like that !

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

This was an excellent stay and a great retreat away from urban life. The Airbnb was very clean, spacious and provided many amenities. The beds were like clouds and the views from the bedroom were like looking at a landscape painting of Mt. Fuji. The location was quite convenient! The street to the Airbnb is right off the main road that circles round the lake. At the entrance to the street is the bus stop for the Fujikyu loop bus. Across the street is a pedestrian access to the lake and where the swans frequent. Many tourists stop by there to take photos of the beautiful scenery and swans. The Airbnb is secluded away from this busy lake road, so it was still a very peaceful and tranquil stay. The host was incredibly hospitable, had great communication and was very friendly and fun to talk. We will definitely be coming back here again!

Without exaggeration, I can say that this was my most wonderful AirBnB experience as a family so far. We jumped into the lake every morning, enjoyed the view towards mountains and savoured our breakfast in rural silence. We are travelling without a car and were able to reach the house very easily from the train station, even though we have a lot of luggage. For our 1.5 year old daughter, this was paradise. She enjoyed saying hello to the chickens, splashing in the lake or playing on the beach. Chie and Iain provided the perfect family friendly environment: a high chair, children's books and children's cutlery - nothing was missing. They gave us additional recommendations for activities with a child. All in all a 10 out of 10.

This B&B is suitable for a family to stay, but it's best to drive. If you go out, it's a bit far from the river mouth lake station. There are 3 toilets, 3 showers, and a large terrace overlooking Mt. Fuji. You can see the 2 rooms from the window, but the mattress is average, but it's clean and hygienic.It takes 5 minutes to drive to the nearby supermarket, and 2 minutes to walk to the 7-11. The B&B is isolated, so even if the train passes by, it doesn't affect sleep. So, if I have the chance to come to Hekou Lake next time, I will definitely stay here.The replies to the questions were quick, thank you for your efforts in answering the questions.

The quietly prepared homestay is absolutely amazing Though you won't see each other, the message contact and response were proactive and don't make you feel nonsense. The whole space is nestled. It is also very Japanese traditional accommodation atmosphere! Especially the bathroom facilities, very new and clean. Lake Biwa is not far from the back of the house, which is really beautiful, and there is also a Mini shop to buy and eat nearby. In summary, if you like a quiet and clean room, Jingru Glass is a good choice for your stay!

It is clean and equipped with a kitchen, shower, washing machine, TV, WiFi, etc.They responded quickly to even minor issues, which was very helpful.I want to stop again.

Yui was very helping even before we arrived by providing tips on the surrounding train stations for easy travels. She was thoughtful to provide a stroller since we had kids in tow. She even welcomed us with a snack that was delicious. Her place was surrounded by places to eat and shop. Never had any issues of finding something to explore or do. After a long day of exploring, it was nice to rest in her home. It was spacious and away from all the street noise. If I ever had a question, she would be quick to respond. I would definitely book with her again knowing she’s a great host.

The room was exactly as described, the host super nice and flexible. The room is above a really nice bar, and surprisingly there is no noise at all! However, the room is pretty far from the center, around 45 mins from Shinjuku. So it depends on what you're looking for!

Just as the pictures show, a very nice place for traveling couple like us! The place is clean, and location is convenient with a metro station and a convenience store. Coin laundry at 1st floor is helpful too.

Except that you have to walk a bit to Chiyo house (around 10+ minutes, which is actually a good exercise for us), everything is perfect as described. She is definitely a superhost

Toku’s place is clean and well located. Train station and aeon mall are within walking distance. Nice park with Starbucks just across the house. Spacious for my family of 3. Kitchen is well equipped and house is well maintained. Would love to stay again.

The accomodation was quite peaceful exactly what we were looking for. Nice surroundings, you will definitely feel like you're getting to stay like a localite. The host Micky was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 8 had a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... as soon as we entered the house was deeply attracted... it was a little late for us to arrive... but the homeowner was still very warmly hosting us... not forgetting to remind us to be careful on the way to come... because it snowed in the mountain lake that day... our family's first snowing experience was here The experience is... really mesmerized by the amazing snow scenery around... Although you can't see Fuji but get a very fascinating snow view... It's very close to the individual net red punch point of Yamanaka Lake... but this trip we didn't get the chance to see the charming Mt.Fuji... hopefully we'll have the chance to come back again in the future... and see the different beauty of Mt. Fuji... I'm here very, very very Recommended for people staying at this cozy homestay… there will be a next time only if there is regret..

Clean, beautiful environment, convenient for self-catering.There are fresh vegetables, fruits, and meat sold at the nearby station.

A total of 7 people with parents and children in GW. I chose a private lodging with more freedom than a hotel. The location passed through satisfaction and was washed in front of Mt. Fuji. On the second day, I went fishing for Wakasagi, and everyone on the boat came to get wakasagi at Bowes. I also had a meal, so I thought I'd give it to the host next door, but they fried it and let me eat it. It was crowded at night, so I suddenly thought about BBQing. We asked for an urgent response, but we immediately had a grill and charcoal and enjoyed the BBQ deliciously. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, but I enjoyed it. Thank you very much. I'm sorry to bother you again.

This time, we stayed with our family of four with two children, and it was a really great place.In terms of transportation, it was smooth to get to the inn from the direction you told me in advance, and the entrance was easy to understand.The spacious indoor everything was neat and tidy, and we had a barbecue in the garden without hesitation, and we enjoyed gathering with our family for two consecutive days at night.We took a short walk in the middle of the night and looked up at the night sky and enjoyed the starry sky.The owner was very friendly, and as soon as I asked questions about how to turn on the lights in the garden, they responded and told me.This time, I was based here, sightseeing in Cape Ashizuri and Kashiwajima, and enjoyed the Yakata Shimanto River boat and zip line.The location was just right and it was a good trip.My family also raved that they would like to stay here again.Thank you very much for this time.
