Really enjoyed our stay at The Sugar Loaf. Beautiful place, well presented and lovley and clean. The fresh eggs and personalised note were a beautiful touch too and was so appreciated. Beth was very helpful and kind. Will definitely be back.

Lovely stay for the night, place was spotless and very comfortable. Only had to message Scott the once and the response was within minutes and very helpful. Took the recommendation of the local pub for food and did not disappoint.

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

The studio is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as an escape from the city. The private sauna was the main reason for choosing Roberta's place and it really is a highlight, it has a beautiful view looking out over fields and trees and a shower you can run hot or cold. Although we didn't have great weather during our stay, the studio is very cozy and comfortable and warms up quickly by lighting the wood burner. There is a fridge and it is possible to make simple meals on the induction hob. It is indeed an idyllic setting and extremely peaceful (caveat: if you want a lie in, bring earplugs as the dawn chorus lead by nearby enthusiastic rooster is a rousing start to the day first thing). Well worth the drive down from London. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

It's hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly the little getaway my partner and I needed to get some R&R away from London. Karina was extremely accommodating and even reached out to us to see if we wanted to adjust our dates because of the bad weather, which we did in the end! The hut itself was stunning, and a labor of love from the hosts. It was so full of character, and we appreciated all of the little touches throughout. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, the bed was super cosy and comfortable, and the fireplace was an absolute hit! So easy to light a roaring fire in minutes! It's right next to a little creek, and listening to the water was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the outdoor bath (spacious enough for 2 people), and spent many hours in it under the stars and listening to all the owls chatting. An absolute dream! The local pub 15 mins walk away had the most divine food and wine too. We will definitely be back!

The shed with as view was everything needed in a holiday home, fantastic views, quiet and relaxing, all amenities I.e. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc provided. Lovely very helpful hosts Sheila & Mike, thank you for the scones cream and jam, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the shed with a view to any holiday maker. We are a of 5 couples with very high expectations. So hard to find one property that provided everything on our extensive wish list and this trumped everything else. Every bedroom was large with ensuite and tv for those who want it. Plenty of break out space when required too. Best of all is the peace and quiet and far-reaching views of the beautiful countryside. Very thoughtful touches too like milk in the fridge and a cream tea awaits your arrival. We all agreed it was our best choice yet and will be back. Our weather was awful so the planned activities didn't happen although a few did venture out for walks when the rain stopped. The rest of us were happy to chat and chill and just enjoy thespace.

We really enjoyed staying in Hilary's house. Everything was perfect, we felt like at home even thought we stayed for just one night. Also, the house is freshly built and well decorated, which we liked very much. Beautiful and quiet surroundings allowed us to get a refreshing sleep (beds were comfortable and there are two different pillows to choose from). Property had all we needed (including kitchen utensils, towels etc.) to rest from the day trip and prepare for the next day. Hilary is a pleasant lady and came to welcome us and say hello after we arrived.
