We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting for a friends wedding. Lovely, clean and very spacious property. Thank you!

We spent a fabulous couple of days at The Forge. The place is as described - very comfortable and fully equipped for an escape to the countryside. We loved the thoughtful welcome basket of goodies too. Set in extensive grounds and with plenty of local walking, it was a chance to completely unwind and relax. A big thank you to Mel, the property manager, who provided full and clear information and was friendly and responsive to our queries.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Beautiful property. The house is huge—we joked that we probably wouldn’t use all of the rooms—but we did. The whole experience felt luxurious—seriously, a pool? We had trouble with the sauna—better directions would be helpful—but the issue was addressed speedily. And I don’t know why people complain about the lumber yard; we noticed nothing. Hats off to Phoebe and Jan!

We had a lovely long weekend in Libby’s lodge. The lodge itself was much bigger and more spacious than we expected. It’s located on a beautiful, peaceful site, with lots of amenities and it’s only a short drive to the nearest town. Libby was really helpful and responsive. We’d definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at Turnip Cottage. Everything was perfect for our group. The cottage was spacious, homely and fully equipped. The facilities were excellent. We were a party of 5 adults and two children aged 14 and 10 and we made good use of the 2 games rooms in the courtyard. The children loved the tennis court / football / go-cart area and we all made good use of the swimming pool and gym. The owner was very friendly and helpful and directed us to a lovely private walk within the grounds. We will definitely meet our friends at the cottage again and enjoy another peacefully perfect weekend in this beautiful part of the country.

My stay at Jonathan's was fantastic, he is a very kind and hospitable host. He provided many local recommendations for eateries and has a folder full of sightseeing (and history) in the surrounding area. The accommodation is cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. It is a very peaceful location where you can enjoy the sound of the countryside (plus a little car traffic but nothing that disturbs you). Thank you so much for hosting us!

Really nice house well placed for the town with a big carpark nearby. Very nice outdoor private area and a very well equipped kitchen. Super loo and shower. We will stay again.

Perfect spot for exploring Shrewsbury and long overdue catch up with family. House was perfect for our needs. Very clean and tidy with lots of care and attention given to the little details that make all the difference. Lovely host who we didn't meet but was very responsive to messages. I would 100% recommend and would stay here again.

Beautifully presented townhouse in a central location. Katie was a great host leaving chocolate waffles and milk in the fridge. House is located in busy street which is near all the tourist locations and plenty of bars and restaurants. On weekends, it could be noisy in early hours if the weather is good. Stay was very pleasant

Having stayed here previously, it was the first place I looked to book when staying in the area again. Hosts were responsive on messages and instructions were clear and helpful. They let me check in early of which was really helpful. Lovely little place, great amenities and very homely. Great value and a charming little stay. Would highly recommended if in there area and looking for a good value place to stay. Would highly recommend. 👍👍

Handy location to walk into Shrewsbury, house described as advertised so no surprises. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

The pictures don't do the cottage, justice. It's the biggest bedroom we've ever stayed in! It's a lovely, quiet area, with great views from the windows. It's centrally located for Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth, both of which are well worth visiting. Easy parking, which is always a bonus.

Allison and Neil both greeted us as soon as we arrived , couldn't ask for nicer hosts, Allison shown us around and gave lots of information on the cottage and area , its in a very quiet location yet not far from either Shrewsbury one way or into the countryside the other way ,the scenery is terrific, we could of just stayed and not gone anywhere its so well situated, the only downside is the time went so fast and we where packing to leave before we knew it, we only stayed 2 nights , next time we will stay a lot longer so please leave us space so we can come back 😀 ,cant recommend enough , Amazing ,scenic,quiet ,well maintained and fantastic hosts .

Fabulous host, with regular instructions/updates. House is lovely and in a great location in terms of walking distance into the town etc. Car park right across the road is convenient but pricey and watch out of the parking attendants as they are regular! The only downside is the house is located in the same road as the local nightclub which made the night time a bit noisy, not from the music, but from the clubbers as they left.

This charming little house was perfect. Great location. Jack was very helpful and leaving was as simple as putting the key back in the lock box . We appreciated the large fridge freezer, full length mirror and hanging space . And the large shower head . Will definitely stay here again.

Leah’s place is very neatly done- absolutely spotless and felt homely. The dining - lawn space was beautiful. The place had all the amenities listed. Our family of four had a wonderful time!

Lovely cottage, comfortable and spacious for two. Beautiful location with lots of walks from the doorstep. Friendly and informative hosts. No hesitation in recommending Bog Farm Cottage.
