Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shrewsbury

2nd time staying here and not disappointed on either occasion. Host is very easy to communicate with and made arrival very simple. Accomodation is as described and as the picture shows. Location is great if you like walking, cycling and pubs and would thoroughly recommend the local pub which serves great food and beer.

Our stay @ The Mill was just perfect Debs is the most wonderful host who looked after our every need with plenty of banter as well 😆 The Mill itself is beautifully restored with so many original features both inside & out . I spent the first night just walking around in wonder Then the outside … just wow 🤩 Our own lake , friendly llamas 🦙, pigs , chickens laying you fresh eggs for brekkie … the list just goes on & on I personally loved sleeping at night with the doors open listening to all the animals Needless to say we will be returning as soon as we’re back in the UK When people say this is a hidden gem 💎 believe me The Mill surpasses all The Mill is a treasure trove 💚

The place was spotless on arrival and check-in was a breeze. It instantly felt like home. Plenty of space for all 8 of us — and our dogs were welcome too, which was a huge bonus. The building itself was beautiful with lots of lovely quirks and character. We especially loved the covered decking at the back — perfect for a cup of tea, a cosy blanket, and a good book. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed throughout the stay to cook and clean with. The extra fridge helped with the amount of food and drink that was brought too! Such a peaceful part of the UK and would recommend to anyone looking for an escape to the countryside to unwind. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cottage. All clean and modern . Lovely garden. Very private and quiet. Query was dealt with within a few minutes. The house is on 3 levels with one bedroom.on lower floor so bare this in mind if anyone has moblity issues. Toilet on lower floor. Shower on top floor

The Hurst Coach House was just fantastic. It was way better than the photos suggested. Light, airy and full of character. You had everything you needed there and more. Hot tub was fab and the beds were comfy. Michelle was very accommodating to us when we added a furry friend last minute and even left a little gift. It was boiling when we were there too and Michelle very kindly added an air con unit which was hugely beneficial. Overall a lovely, beautiful place that I will no doubt be coming back to!

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — Ellie was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, leaving us lovely cakes to enjoy on arrival. The cottage (and its surroundings) is full of charm and just as whimsical as the pictures suggest. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also enjoyed the easy drives into Ludlow, Leominster, Tenbury Wells and local walks. We can’t thank Ellie enough for creating such a beautiful, memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back one day!

We loved our time at the little dairy! We instantly felt right at home, with the beautiful, calming furnishings. Nicole was an incredible host, helping us with anything we needed. The surrounding village was full of beautiful walks, lots of stunning nature. We also enjoyed seeing Nicole’s horses! We both highly highly recommend staying at the Little dairy and we both love to come back in the future!

I used this property as a base for working in the area and glad I did as it was a great location. Did not get out to check the local restaurants but did have a lovely pint at the local pub. Accommodation was fantastic clean with everything I needed and Sasha and John were amazing hosts. Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the area.

What an absolute wonderful stay! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Definitely will be returning and I’m not just saying that. Sarah & Richard have put so much into the owlet and it shows. Our stay was perfect, private, beautiful and the whole family had the best stay!

Put short, we didn't want to leave. It was fantastic from start to finish, Hayley was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had some fantastic treatments while staying, and fully made use of the amenities. Such a wonderful location, can't wait to hopefully return.

Gillon and Merete were amazing hosts. The place is beautiful and in such a stunning setting. My favourite moment was going out for an early evening swim - so tranquil. The pool was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, tranquil setting with superb hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of everything from a welcome bottle of wine and sweet treats to robes, sliders and even treats for the dog! Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool and hot tub. We will definitely return. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation in quiet and peaceful surroundings this is the place for you.

Absolutely stunning setting, beautiful views, scenic walk up to the stiperstones, we particularly enjoyed the dipping pool (with the sheep looking on) and the bucolic atmosphere generally. Michiala is friendly and helpful. The pod is cosy and the door opens onto amazing views of the hills.

We loved our stay here - quirky and unusual, but felt right at home! Gorgeous views. The hot tub was easy to set up with clear instructions, and enough logs to last us our stay. The natural pool was beautiful and had lovely newts and felt very calm. Check-in and out instructions were very clear, and we had all the facilities we needed.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Visited as a family group (8 adults and 3 young children) for my Dad and his partner's 60th birthday celebrations. Absolutely beautiful property, we've had the best time! it was so lovely to have the separate sleeping areas and so much space with us being a big group. We were lucky with the weather and spend most of our time outside. The kids loved the ducks and goats. The surroundings are beautiful and I would highly recommend. I stayed in one of the pods with my little girl and it was just what we needed. Those in the other pods and house all loved their accommodation too. I would highly recommend this place for a big group/family and I would definitely return!

Wow, what an amazing cosy house! Tucked away on a quiet backstreet in Shrewsbury town, so much to do in the area and I felt right at home in this house!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay here. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery and the hot tub was the best we’ve been in with gorgeous views of the sunset! Located in a really quiet area, we weren’t disturbed by any noise, but enjoyed being driving distance of local towns and places to visit. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing!

Such an astonishing and amazing place. Look even way better than the photos and descriptions. The first moment we step into this place we already decided to revisit here with our families next time. Will definitely miss this experience. We played piano all days long in the astonishing lobby and had afternoon tea in the elegant living room. There’s so much more to explore within the interior and exterior of this manor, wish we got longer time to stay🥹. Lama is such a responsible and lovely host, and our house manger- Charlie is also super helpful made us felt like home.

Paul’s place is perfectly located near the English Bridge so it’s really close to the town centre, shops, restaurants and pubs, but also quiet and adjacent to a great river walk around to the Quarry and Welsh Bridge.

The photos of Rock Cottage simply do not do it justice. The most beautiful property in a stunning part of the UK. Bradley & Mirabelle were fabulous hosts, always on hand to help with any queries we had and they left some fabulous recommendations for eateries etc. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in Shrewsbury-you couldn’t ask for the house to be in a better location. Everything is within walking distance (including the long stay car park) and it was great to be able to walk everywhere, rather than use the car. As expected, there are a lot of stairs but they were a great workout! Having a toilet on the ground floor is very handy if you have any guests who would struggle with the stairs. The bedrooms are a great size and we really liked having both a small and larger lounge. The kitchen is very well equipped too. The host is very responsive to messages and on hand to deal with any issues-I would definitely recommend this house for a stay in Shrewsbury, the location really is unbeatable.
