Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. Love of nature & the outdoors required. Situated on the face of Mt Chase, this 100 yr old cabin can accommodate from 1 to 7 people very comfortably. Completely private, surrounded by a peaceful wilderness, you step out of time and back into nature. Please be aware, the cabin is truly in the wilderness. When the solar lights are out in the cabin, the only glow are the stars and your flashlight. The only sounds, your own and the forest.

It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

You'll love the cosiness of our SOLAR cabin!. We are only 3km to Mara lake provincial beach and 15 mins to Sicamous and Enderby. Our place will accommodated 5 guests max. The space has indoor lights and a simple charging station for phones and computers. Please remember this is an off-grid cabin. Great for motorcycle riders as this area boasts many scenic roads.

A bachelor cabin with queen bed, shower, kitchen. There is a large deck with a bbq to relax on overlooking the pastures, mountains and our cows. Beside the cabin is a spot for an outdoor fire, weather permitting. We have many trails off the property including a waterfall. We are close to town, but a world away. If you enjoy nature you will love our property.
