B&B Anapama, Three of Cups

The B&B Anapama is immersed in the magical and green setting of the Anapo Valley 2.5 km from Palazzolo Acreide (UNESCO heritage) in the province of Syracuse. Anapama was founded in 2007 by the desire of the owners to surround themselves with the beauty and tranquility of nature. The 4 hectares of land are surrounded by walnut trees, oaks, figs, and inhabited by its variety of animals. The property is bordered by the river Anapo in which you can dive in spring and run in the dry period throughout the summer. The structure, an old stone farmhouse, has been carefully restored by the owners trying to maintain the typical Sicilian design, the old gebbia once used to collect water is now a swimming pool fed by spring water. The B&B Anapama has 4 different lodgings, as specified below. All accommodations have a private bathroom and are completely independent from the main house, three of them have an independent entrance that overlooks a small courtyard paved in stone. From the courtyard you can reach a private garden for guests, shaded by bamboo, walnut and loquat trees. Here you can relax reading a book or simply watching and listening to the nature that surrounds you. The fourth accommodation is totally independent from the main structure for more privacy and has a small private garden. The lodgings are: - ASSO DI SPADE (room with double bed private bathroom) - DUE DI BASTONI (studio with 2 single beds private bathroom and kitchen) - TRE DI COPPE (studio with double bed, sofa bed private bathroom and kitchen) - DIECI DI DERNARI (independent studio apartment with double bed private bathroom and kitchen) Our breakfasts, prepared with care, are very rich and allow you to enjoy excellent local products and home-made by Vivian herself, such as her varied and delicious jams. Breakfast is served from 9:00 onwards in the main garden in the shade of the kaki trees. Breakfast represents for us a moment of sharing and in which our guests can get to know each other and chat. It is Vivian's habit, after serving breakfast and waiting for the end, to sit down with the guests and give them important information about the major sites of historical, artistic and naturalistic interest in Palazzolo and in the province of Syracuse.

Artepalermo is a Bed and Breakfast apartment in the heart of the historic centre of Palermo, on the top floor of an old, renovated house, without elevator and surrounded by lanes, churches, markets, washing, squares and terraces. You will live in the house of an artist and you can visit her studio Your room is more than 25 square metres, it has a double and a single bed, a sofa, a bureau and a balcony. There is a shared sitting room, a shared dining room, a roof terrace, another atmospheric little terrace and a kitchen where you can also cook. You will have a private bathroom, but it is not in the room itself. The furniture and the style of the apartment are basic with an artistic touch. There is free, quick, unlimited internet( fibre). As we are really in the heart of the centre you can walk within a few minutes to the food markets, supermarkets, flea markets, shops, restaurants, musea, port and parcs. It is less than 5 minutes walking to the sea! The centrale train station is at 10 minutes walking. In case you arrive by car (but you don't need it in Palermo) : you are not allowed to go into the historic centre without a special pass ( the ZTL) but you can park on the Foro Italico (near Porta Felice is the nearest). If somebody asks you money, give him maximum 1 or 2 euros. We are a Dutch woman, a Tunisian man and a Sicilian dog We speak English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic.

The recently renovated apartment is located in the center of Calatafimi Segesta and overlooks the main square, an area with bars (there is one right below the building where you can have breakfast, which is included in the price), restaurants, and supermarkets. It is located 5 km from the Temple of Segesta and 15 km from the beaches of Castellammare del Golfo and Lo Zingaro. The beautiful salt pans of Marsala and the town of Erice can be reached in 45 km. The airports in Palermo and Trapani are about 35 km (22 miles) away.
