Cottage holiday rentals in Sicily

We had a great time. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The road was not as bad as advertised in the reviews. The accommodation, as well as the amenities allowed us to have a pleasant stay.

Beautiful house with a very nice view. Cefalu is 10 minutes away by car! Antonella was a lovely host who made sure our stay was perfect. Recommended for everyone!

The place was very tranquil and serene. You need a car to get around. There are a number of places to visit once you have a car. Insect repellent recommended in the evenings. Nino was very welcoming and helpful with our queries throughout our stay.

Had a nice stay. Very close to the beautiful Turkish Steps and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. In reality, the view is even more beautiful than in the photos. Tip to the host: an extra spare key. When I left for the supermarket one time with the house key, the electricity and thus the air conditioning etc. went off automatically. In itself very environmentally friendly, but sometimes not convenient if one of the two goes out of the house. Care is friendly and is there to give you a nice stay. He arranged cake for me wife her birthday.

We loved the stay. 👍👍 The grounds are very beautiful with a great environment/landscape around it. In addition, the grounds are optimally maintained. Our 2-person room was also nice. It was clean and tidy. We were even greeted by the hostess with a homemade cake. The only point where we do not give 5 stars is the location in terms of accessibility to sights. Although it is not far to the next town, Sciacca, you have to drive quite far to the well-known sights of Sicily. Therefore, a rental car/car is definitely recommended at the accommodation. The two hosts made a very pleasant impression. Communication was very easy via the Airbnb app's messenger and you always got quick answers. All in one, we definitely recommend the accommodation! If you have a car, it's definitely worth it! We wish the hosts all the best! 😊🙏

Staying with Monica was a fantastic experience, beautiful location, the accommodation was well-kept and elegant, it had a very relaxing atmosphere... the host was immediately very helpful and friendly... I hope to return because Sicily is fantastic

It's a gorgeous old house. Beautifully maintained. It feels like a rogue in time as a guest. May was especially cold this year, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothes, as the evenings and mornings were cool. Very comfortable beds. We slept like children. I highly recommend this place. It's too big for 2 people, but it was worth it.

Just perfect. There were so many small thoughtful details of equipment that made our stay feel like we’re staying at a real home rather than an half empty Airbnb. The photos looked already promising but we were shocked that the house looks even better in real life! The cars didn’t bother us much, as you can just close the doors if you want complete silence.

Loved the place in Terissini. Was clean and as described. Dario was great and made us feel comfortable.

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage with a lovely private outdoor area. The pool is great. Biagio is very kind and the communication was impeccable. We got very tasty cakes on the day of arrival and departure. An attention that we were very happy about. The place was sparkling clean! You should have a car to easily reach the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

The perfect place to unwind, relax and dream for people who want to be on their own. Free, loving atmosphere. The host is very, very nice, helpful and always available. Exciting walk to the beach. Very good with dog. Many seating areas to walk around the beautiful house depending on the time of day. We would like to come again.

Corrado is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. The location of the apartment is great, beautiful views and lots to see nearby. The apartment was very neat and comfortable. We would love to come back sometime!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as it was hot and pool was spectacular for this! A car is needed at it is a quick drive to town in Acireale with restaurants and groceries. Letizia communication was grwt - we drove to Catania and shopped at the large outdoor markets (fish, food, any type of clothing with fabulous deals), and came upon a spectacular restaurant where we tried donkey meat, and yes it was wonderful once I got over the fact I was eating donkey - lol. Rhere is also so much to do one coast of cantania. There is an Indoor mall close by Acereale with fun food and clothing shops, workout facilities, and a grocery store. We drove to Savoca and did godfather movie venue, which a must as it has beautiful views, great shopping and we did not need a tour guide for this! I wish we could have stayed longer- the home was equipped for cooking meals for the 4 of us and drinking wine!! We stayed at Bartolo's house last week. Clean and comfortable home and very peaceful area. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the veranda from which we saw beautiful sunsets over the sea. We received a great welcome from Bartolo and his wife and they also offered us the very tasty cunzato bread as well as all the tips on restaurants, hikes and places to visit. Having spent a wonderful week we hope to return! Laura Marica and Simona.

We had one of the most memorable stays in our travel experience, at Francesco's house. Set in a beautiful remote location but a short drive to the nearest town, with the vineyards as your garden and mount Etna as the backdrop. The house and all the amenities in it were spotless. We were traveling with a toddler and were kindly offered a crib. And otherwise, there was everything we needed at the house. Francesco greeted us in Gaggi and led us to the house, but you can also find it easily on Google Maps. The house has no neighbors and the area is very quiet and peaceful, except for some birds and cows outside the gate. The biggest highlight of our stay, of course, was Francesco's and his family's generosity in telling us about the area, offering oranges from the garden and making us feel like part of the family. We'll never forget our time here - thank you!

Margherita’s place is just amazing. We spent 3 nights there with my husband and our 2.5 year old son and it was perfect in every way. So lovely drinking coffee outside in the morning, looking at the beautiful views arounds. The surroundings are beautiful, great for kids to play around. He especially loved the chickens and doggies around. Kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was clean and smelled amazing. Margherita gave us great tips of what to explore and what restaurants to try out. Thanks so much!

Rosario's place is exactly as it is advertised in the best possible way. The house is amazing, cozy and has a chill vibe. The garden is perfect for relaxing and the pool was just perfect and clean as well. The place is well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Rosario is also really friendly and helpful, he always helped us out with all the question and requests we might have had. Thank you.

Nonna Giuseppina House is a wonderful location and matched any description given on Airbnb. You have a great view of the sea and a wild and empty beach close to the house. The house is authentically furnished, big and beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom which suited us perfectly. Bruno and Licia were very responsive, helpful and caring. We had a great time.

Our stay at Alessandro’s & Piera’s accommodation was great! Firstly, they welcomed us with some Sicilian appetisers and Prosecco which was really sweat. They also took the time to create a PDF with worthwhile places within the South-Eastern region of Sicily, such as restaurants, beaches and cities. Secondly, the location of the accommodation is great if you dislike the busy city setting and prefer some peace and quiet. Lastly, the place is situated 15 min by car from the Etna Sud cable cart and you can get to Catania’s city centre in around 30 min. Overall a great place and great hosts, would recommend to everyone that plans on road tripping through Sicily.
