Welcome to simplicity and peace. Tucked in the woods, amid birdsong, this 1-room cottage is a 15 min. walk to local food artisans or 5 min. drive to Ganges. Amenities: High speed Wi-Fi. Microwave. A private, self-contained, off-grid retreat — to unwind and recharge. This stand-alone unit includes a king bedroom, single bedroom, three-piece bathroom, fireplace and an open-plan living and dining area. Outside, guests have their own private seating area and BBQ for relaxed outdoor dining. Surrounded by forest, with a seasonal waterfall, nature hikes to our 1 km of coastline. Just 20 mins to Victoria or Mill Bay, close to the Malahat Skywalk, island wineries, and Butchart Gardens via ferry.

Cobble Hill Cedar Hut

With your own detached bathroom and kitchen about 30m from the Cedar Hut, this can be your cozy, heated one room glamping experience. A private spot on our little farm. We are settled on 9.5 acres which you are Welcome to roam. Farm dogs Klaus (Bernese/Aussie) and Pinkie (Dachsi) are friendly and keep busy with roaming the property. Our horses are your neighbors and you will most likely find us in the garden. Enjoy the tranquility and privacy of your getaway to relax. Two bicycles provided.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts of every kind. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.

We are located in the picturesque south end of Salt Spring Island, within walking distance of pristine beaches, forest trails, Ruckle provincial park, and various local farmstands.

Wake up to fresh, local coffee in the trees. Spend the day hiking and exploring the beaches and trails of beautiful East Sooke Park with your furry friends. Finish the day by the fire or in the outdoor tub amongst giant conifers. A treehouse sleepover fit for adults. Glamping at its finest.
