We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The home itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Yosemite—but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond by welcoming our kids onto their ranch and teaching them all about the horses and goats. Our children absolutely loved getting to help feed and brush the animals—it was such a special experience they’ll never forget. We’re so grateful for the kindness and care the hosts showed throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with thoughtful hosts and a little magic thrown in, this is the place. We hope to return one day!

We had a great stay at Mary’s guest suite in Grass Valley. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the location was incredibly convenient to get to the fairgrounds where our band was performing. The house also easily accommodated our five-piece band and luggage. We would definitely stay here again!

Very good place and Barbara was great even if we didn't see her. We didn't see any animals in the farm but we came for the trails and it was easy and great to enjoy the mountains and the city from Barbara's place.

This location was perfect for us! We love to visit Lake Tahoe. Our daughters live in Reno so we drove easily up to visit them during our stay or they met up with us. The scenery was amazing. Views surround you that are just breathtaking. We enjoyed Scootch welcoming us whenever he could. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Everything we needed was there to cook our breakfast. Even the fresh eggs. We have recommended this location to many friends showing them how amazing it is.

The cottage was very nice, with great views, tall ceilings, huge sliding glass doors, and perfectly set up for two couples. It was extremely clean! We had a great stay!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Christine's ranch. The cabin is very comfortable. The ranch is expansive, and as guests we were free to walk around it. Christine kindly toured us around so we could then explore on our own. The swimming hole is not yet full but we enjoyed spending a day at the river, and the natural spring hot tub is amazing. If we had more time, there's so many lakes and waterfalls and hikes to take around their area, but we'll just have to come back! PS if driving up from the Bay Area, plan on extrav1-2 hrs extra driving time in the spring and summer on the state routes due to road construction.

Had a wonderful stay and looking forward to coming back! Place was very clean with an updated bathroom and kitchen well stocked for cooking. Extremely comfortable pillows and mattress (they were on the firm side, so if you like a soft mattress, be aware). Definitely recommend, great value for the price!

this place is totally private! we had daily visitors in the form of livestock and turkeys and hummingbirds and completely loved it

We had a wonderful stay on the farm! Curtis was extremely friendly and hospitable both before, during and after our stay. We loved all the animals, the brewery and live music, and evening by the campfire. Not to forget the fantastic sunset and absolutely stunning grounds! So glad we found this hidden gem, cannot wait to come back!

Valerie is a very responsive, kind, and personable host! The barn and property are just as advertised. If you don't prefer a rustic stay, This isn't for you. But if you are OK with a few harmless spiders in the corner l corners and a getting from cats, dogs, chickens, and horses on the property, This is the place! Very comfortable and clean. Has excellent wifi with a smart TV. Very private and feels safe. Excellent experience overall:)

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, Pallavi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for…checking in on our safe arrival as we drove all the way from South Texas to Central California, and even wishing us well on our travels. She was incredibly communicative and shared tons of helpful local tips and recommendations, which really enhanced our visit. The cottage, felt completely private and peaceful. One of the standout features was the beautiful, expansive garden, full of seasonal fruits and vegetables that we were welcome to harvest and enjoy during our stay. Everything was thoughtfully organized, with a detailed guestbook that covered everything from check-in/out instructions to local attractions and a guide to what crops were in season. It made us feel right at home and gave us plenty of options for things to do and enjoy. We chose this stay to visit Sequoia National Park, which is only a scenic 45-minute drive away. Truly a hidden GEM!!

A great cabin if you are looking for a little get away from near by cities or traveling internationally to head to Yosemite. Booked this lovely cabin for a birthday weekend with the girls. Very spacious. Used the full kitchen to be able to bake a cake and have a wholesome dinner made. TWO BATHROOMS!! Just a little heads up, neighbors are very close by and not as secluded (closed off) as we thought but that’s okay! We ended up making friends with a neighbor close by anyway & overall great experience.

We just absolutely loved this Airbnb. We will definitely book here next time we are in town. The Longhorn on the property added a fun experience. It is just 9 minutes from downtown and 7 minutes from DAOU Vineyards which is a really nice venue.

Fun barn loft on a nice working apple orchard/farm. There are goats, dogs, ducks and a sweet potbellied pig as a bonus at this stay. There loft was a nice quiet mountain stay. Be prepared as stated in the description to walk up and down stairs with your stuff. This would not be ideal for anyone with physical limitations. We stayed here to visit Yosemite but be aware it is still quite a drive (over 1 hour) to either park entrance. It is not super close to any town either so come prepared with what you need.

The black barn was a great place to stay! My girlfriend and I loved staying here for our 5th year anniversary weekend. We would most definitely stay here again when we come back to Paso Robles again, which we will! Soo many places to drink wine and eat great food, and we barely spent any time downtown. 10/10 highly recommend!

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

Beautiful location nestled within a vineyard. Cabin was spotless and spacious. Back patio was peaceful with lush views of a rambling creek and trees. Highly recommend! Also recommend BBQ 152 in Gilroy just 5 miles away.

We loved staying at Courtneys place. It was very clean and well maintained. The ambience was simply great too.

Nestled in a tiny suburb of Owen's Valley between two majestic mountain ranges, this place is a peaceful get away, and just as advertised. Upon arrival we were greeted with a gift - perhaps because I was there for a birthday occasion, but possibly just what the hosts do. The home came with everything needed for home-cooked meals, which we did each night. We didn't use the BBQ, but we made use of the patio, visited the chickens out back, collected some garden basil for our pasta, and sprawled out on the private driveway to stargaze each night.. Only 15 minutes to Bishop, we never felt far away from civilization, but the peace, quiet, and comfort of the space made us feel like we were in another world. Thank you Frank (and Maria) for your hospitality. Your guesthouse was a highlight on our Eastern Sierras tour.

This was our second visit to Lee Ann’s home. This time we were able to appreciate the lush summer vineyards, afternoon breezes, and even picked a few apricots. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views and the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Authentic California Spanish Hacienda architecture set in a lovely natural setting, featuring stunning views, blooming agaves, and pollinating plants. We cancelled our dinner reservations, grabbed pizza from Della's, and headed back to the hacienda with our newly acquired bottles of wine to soak up all the moments. We wish it were our own. Peaceful.

Liesl and Marcel’s cottage was just as described in the listing and they responded promptly to any questions I sent their way. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the remote location. Clingan’s Junction Coffee was an added bonus that was only 10 minutes away. We stayed 3 nights and could’ve happily stayed another night or two. Thanks for a great stay Liesl and Marcel!

The cabin is beautiful. It looks just like the pictures. Peaceful, clean, and convenient location for visiting Yosemite. Host is responsive and friendly. Had a wonderful stay and hope to be back someday!
