Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle. I do transfers at no cost, to be agreed upon!

Juçaras refuge with the Alambari River in the backyard

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

Possibility of many hikes to waterfalls and views, a mandatory stop is the river, on the property. Access to the house is 17 km of land, ideally by 4x4 vehicle. My space is a very new cozy chalet, with an equipped kitchen, bathroom and balcony on the first floor, while on the second floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a deck with an incredible view.... We are 36 km from the city of Itamonte. Come rest and relax in the midst of nature and the mountains of Mantiqueira. And we are 17 km from the Itatiaia National Park, high part, Agulhas Negras. And close to several beautiful waterfalls of the Aiuruoca River.
