We had a wonderful stay at Dustin’s home! The house was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It was easy to find and access, and we were welcomed by a warm, toasty home, which was a lifesaver since it was 22 degrees outside. The area has a great selection of cafes and eateries, making it convenient for dining out. Dustin’s communication was excellent—prompt and clear. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Extremely clean and well stocked with a very comfortable king-sized bed. A must book if you’re in the area!

The cabin was a great escape! It was rustic, but we expected that. It offered loads of space, a game room, a propane firepit, relaxing decks, and a propane grill. We spent many days floating in the creek on inner tubes. Our group consisted of 2 families of 4 and our close friend. The kids are all elementary school-age, and they loved running in the woods, playing in the game room, and going to the creek. The bedrooms do need to be cut through to get to the bathrooms, but that was not a problem for our group. It was fabulous to be able to catch up as adults while the kids were busy playing without being on screens. (Of course, there is internet so they could have been, but they were having more fun exploring.) I highly recommend this location.

The place was just as advertised. Cozy, ideal for private sorts like me. It's remote enough but not too remote; half an hour to rapid city. Silver City road is a hoot on a motorcycle. There's no dining table or stove but I did quite well with the hot plate and coffee table. Also ideal for John Wayne fans. Late May came with a lot of drizzle this year.

Lovely little cottage amidst beautiful surroundings, relatively close to all the Black Hills attractions that you would want to see. Comfortable beds, very nicely stocked kitchen. The hosts communicated clearly and promptly. Our family of four stayed for three nights, using it as our base of operations to visit the Badlands, Rushmore, and Jewel Caves. It was a cozy and comfortable place to land after drives and hikes, and we were able to cook meals in the kitchen each night, with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, etc. (+some pantry staples & spices, quite nice!). The decor is lovely, and the bathroom has a great tub. AC kept the space very comfortable. Only mild complaint- the early morning sun hits the bedroom pretty hard, so if you like sleeping like a vampire (like my wife and I), bring an eye mask, because the curtains are pretty translucent. We’d definitely come back!

BOOK IT! The apartment was clean, homey, easily accessible, in a historic building right in the historic district. We walked everywhere morning or night. So many cute shops, restaurants literary right out your front door...Art Alley across the street. We even did a paint party across the street at Canvas 2 Paint. My favorite coffee shop was 3 blocks away...go past Starbucks lol. It was our home for 4 nights, so accessibility to roads NSEW was so close. Rapid City was the perfect base for the endless trips to attractions. Thank you 😀

Golden Summers Cabin Close to Lake Pactola!

What an amazing location this cabin has! Such a lovely scenery in the middle of the forrest, but due to the location we did have our run-ins with the animals that inhabit it. We were unfortunately overrun with moths and attacked by a wasp nest there, but the hosts were so helpful and came to the rescue immediately! Such great service. We would definitely recommend this cabin, just keep in mind the very remote location.
