Monthly Rentals in Silver Spring Park

Suzy’s place was charming, cozy, and conveniently located near shops in Downtown Silver Spring and the metro. Considering its location, this Airbnb is an excellent choice. However, the space itself was a bit dimly lit, which is understandable for a basement. Additionally, I noticed a single hair on the blanket before using it, which I’m certain was a clean hair from the laundry.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The decor was beautifully done—stylish, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches. It was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The location was perfect, with great spots to walk around and explore nearby. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would 100% stay here again. Five stars all the way around!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Basit House in Silver Spring. We didn't rent a car, but instead used the Metro (a 20 minute walk) for all of our DC sightseeing. We stopped at the grocery store on the way to the house each night to buy our supper - it was very convenient.

It was a lovely stay! The living area was homey and functional, the bedroom was cozy and private and the bathroom was the perfect size. The laundry was so helpful, the bathroom had lots of surfaces to keep things organized and the hanging rack in the bedroom for my hanging clothes made me feel at home during my week-long stay. Angela was responsive and respectful, and it was a great, easy, homey and incredible overall stay. The thing I want to highlight the most is that I never felt unsafe in the area or at the house. That includes walking a mile from the train station at night, taking an Uber, biking, leaving my car in the driveway and taking the busses. This was especially huge for me as a solo female traveler, and I think Angela made that clear in her welcome packet and in the listing, but wanted to make sure that it was hammered home that this was very safe and private.
