Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would come back.

This is a beautiful minimalist house in a stunning location. The house is isolated amongst the cork trees and feels very remote, though you are only 10 minutes from the nearest village. Monica was incredibly helpful and provided a wonderful guidebook. Our family of 5 were very happy here for 5 nights and enjoyed exploring Alentejo.

The property might lack kerb appeal from the front but the private outdoor space at the rear, with lovely views and with the bonus of a lovely small pool to cool off in on hot days is fabulous The accommodation itself was well equipped and a good size and also remained lovely and cool, no matter how hot it was outside. The location is good and you can walk down to the beach and many restaurants in about 10/15 minutes, although be prepared for a lot of stairs on the walk back up. Would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ahua Portugal, where our host Anne guided us with thoughtful local tips and quick responses. Nestled on a peaceful hillside above Seixe Valley, the modern house had every comfort we needed and felt like the perfect retreat. We were deeply inspired by Anne’s dedication to the land. She has led a reforestation project across her 18-hectare estate, planting over 30,000 cork trees to restore the forest after wildfires. Tip: Do plan to bring a reliable car. The unpaved access roads are best navigated with a vehicle that has good clearance. If you’re seeking a serene, private getaway with a caring, responsive host deeply connected to her land, Ahua Portugal is an exceptional choice! Five stars all the way, and thank you, Anne!

We had an issue with one of the groups of lads who went in.for a short time but Catia was very understanding and pleasant about it and we got it sorted

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

Martim’s cabana overlooking Portinho da Arrábida is truly something special! Nestled in a private garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and so many butterflies, the cabana has breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea. It feels like your own little sanctuary in nature. And if you feel like a swim, the beach is just a short walk below. The house itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with a mix of cozy country cottage charm and nautical touches. I especially loved how you can open all the windows and enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor living. There is so much light and fresh air throughout! I appreciated that the layout gives everyone a bit of privacy, and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Martim and his brothers were so warm, responsive, and helpful. They really made us feel at home. Thank you for such a relaxing and special birthday trip!

We had a really pleasant stay in Lenias little house. It was everything there we needed. It is really beautiful in nature and close to nice beaches and the village Rogil. My son loved to cuddle the little cat Jippie and the horse Garota:)

We were able to relax immediately in the beautiful ambience. There are many nice little places nearby, good restaurants and great hiking opportunities, among other things, on the coast and in the cork forests. The accommodation is beautifully furnished, well equipped and sparkling clean. Antje and Reiner welcomed us warmly and were also great hosts. Thank you, happy to come back!

Everything was so gorgeous, comfortable, clean, and peaceful! The rooftops provided such a perfect way to watch the sunset, and Zambujeira do Mar is such a cute village with a lot of great hiking, restaurants and a great beach just footsteps below this great property. Major thanks to Andreia for ensuring our safe arrival and entry despite it being incredibly late.

Our family of 5 stayed here for two weeks over Easter. Even though the weather was a bit wet and windy most of the days, we had the best time.

The villa is exactly as shown in the pictures - beautiful and very well maintained. We were particularly impressed by the fantastic view of the mountains and the wonderful pool, ideal for cooling off. The beach can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes, by car it takes a few minutes. Communication was always fast and helpful, check-in even worked smoothly at 2 a.m. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. We went as a family, with a child and a baby of months included and it was the ideal place to spend a week's vacation. Very neat and organized space, excellent pool and room with all the necessary amenities. Our eldest daughter loved Maria, her stories, toys and animals. She was a very welcoming and lovely host! We really enjoyed the morning walks, the fields, the bike rides, as well as the peace and quiet of the whole area. Our eldest daughter has already asked us to come back and it will certainly be a good reunion. We loved it! Thank you for everything and a special kiss from Madalena.

Our stay at Nowhere was absolutely perfect. While we had every intention of exploring the region during our stay, we felt so at home and relaxed at the property that we hardly left. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful that we wanted to make the most of our time there. This was one of the nicest Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.
