Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment! Alles war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage war ideal – ruhig, aber trotzdem zentral, sodass wir alles gut erreichen konnten. Besonders gefallen hat uns die herzliche Kommunikation mit dem/der Gastgeber*in – stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Treppenstufen zum Apartment sind – typisch für diesen schönen Altbau – etwas steil. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber man sollte es wissen. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Very amazing accommodation if you wanna have the Amsterdam experience. Both Karin and her husband communicated well and were very nice people. They were also available if you needed help, lived nextdoor. Gave us recommendations on what to visit and how to get there. The public transport was nearby too. Very nice place near the Olympic stadium. Definitely recommend.

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

Lovely apartment set on a farm, with countryside around. Great access to city centers from near by train station. Hosts incredibly responsive and very welcoming, providing stair gates, cots and high chairs. Family friendly place, with two friendly dogs. Would recommend staying here.

Sebastiaan was so kind and friendly. He met us promptly when we arrived and showed us the space. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had complimentary coffee and even a bottle of chilled champagne! He made some great local recommendations. Each time we messaged him, we heard back within minutes. I really appreciated that his checkout process was simple --much appreciated when you're trying to get out the door early in the morning. Overall, the place was beautiful and quiet (no street noise), in a perfect location to easily walk to everything we wanted to see, and Sebastiaan was so helpful. Loved this place, would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Hans’ place was fantastic. It was exactly as described - neat and clean, with great amenities and in an excellent location. Hans is incredibly friendly and a wonderful host. He provided a map of the city with tons of recommendations, and the bikes were so great for getting around. There were nice touches like that all throughout his place, it’s obvious how much he cares about creating a welcoming environment. If you have the opportunity to stay here I can’t recommend it enough. This is everything Airbnb is supposed to be.

Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub in Trudys Wohnung. Trudy antwortete sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen, wir durften früher einchecken und wurden herzlich empfangen, mit Saft und tollem Kuchen, Kaffee, Tee.... Alles war sehr sauber, es fehlte nichts und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Trudy gab uns Tipps für eine Bäckerei und tolle Restaurants. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut, dass wir die Terasse nutzen konnten. Dank der Heizung hatten wir es aber drinnen gemütlich. Man kommt in 15 Minuten gut zu Fuß in die Stadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine nette Begrüßung und Erklärung der Highlight vor Ort und in der Nähe der Unterkunft. Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Wohnung. Sind sonst immer im Hotel , aber hier hat man (und Frau) sich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit vielen Details. Und von Kaffee Pads bis zu Gewürzen war alles vorhanden. Wir werden sicher noch mal wiederkommen.

Joost et sa femme sont particulièrement accueillants. Leur côté chaleureux a contribué à rendre notre séjour familier et sympathique. Literie excellente. Propreté parfaite. Le petit déjeuner apporté chaque matin avec le sourire était confectionné avec soin, bon et copieux. Ce moment était l'occasion de discuter un peu avec de couple ouvert et bienveillant. L'appartement, facile à trouver - est extrêmement agréable, bien meublé, accessible et dans un cadre verdoyant et paisible. Le tram qui nous mène en centre ville et dans le quartier des Musées est à 3 minutes à pied et les trams très fréquents. Nous n'avons pas regretté du tout de ne pas être en centre ville Tout a été positif. Nous recommandons sans réserve l'appartement de Joost et sa femme

Wir (5 Freunde+1 Hundi) haben sehr schöne Tage gehabt in der Unterkunft. Tolle ruhige ländliche Lage- mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem ist der Weg nach Amsterdam schnell und unkompliziert(kleiner Tipp: es gibt eine Fähre). Victor und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Also wer etwas Ruhe braucht aber trotzdem schnell in der Stadt oder andere Unternehmungen machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Edam und Volendam. Außerdem lohnt sich auch ein Tagesausflug an die Nordsee ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir durften für vier Nächte die wunderbare Unterkunft von Nittert & Familie nutzen - am liebsten wären wir nicht mehr abgereist. Was für ein Glückstreffer: von der liebevollen, detailreichen Einrichtung aller Zimmer, über die große, perfekt ausgestattete Küche und das bequeme Wohnzimmer, bis hin zum toll gepflegten, üppig bepflanzten Garten, in dem man in aller Ruhe sitzen und lesen konnte ... Solch eine Art von Gastgeberschaft ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir waren glücklich und dankbar und sehr begeistert :-) Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Wir waren eine Woche mit den Kids da. Der Strand war super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Waren auch noch im Tierpark, Schmetterlinghaus und auf dem größten Spielplatz Europas. War alles in 20-45 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen. Schöne Gegend, super nette Leute, auch in den Restaurants mit den Kleinen Rabauken. Gerne wieder :)

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben uns bei Ruud und Marieke sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war sauber und wie beschrieben. Von dort aus kann man alles fußläufig gut erreichen (den Ort mit vielen Restaurants und den Strand). Die Gastgeberin war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt in einer süßen und sehr gemütlichen Unterkunft! Wenn wir wieder nach Amsterdam kommen, dann wollen wir auf jeden Fall wieder in Astrids kleinem Kuschelhäuschen untergebracht sein! Hier ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es steht auch eine Auswahl an Gewürzen, Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung sowie ausreichende Kochutensilien und Geschirr. Das Haus war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, so wie die Bushaltestelle mit einer guten Verbindung nach Amsterdam. Alles in allem eine Fünfsterneplus-Unterkunft! Vielen Dank dafür, Astrid!

Le logement d’Albert est situé en plein milieu d'une magnifique nature paisible. Il était très facile de nous rendre en voiture en 5 ou 6 minutes à Ilpendam d’où des bus fréquents nous menaient en une vingtaine de minutes à la gare centrale d’Amsterdam.Pour information le stationnement à Ilpendam est facile et gratuit.Pour les courses ( supermarché et petit centre commercial) nous nous rendions à Monnickendam en 10 minutes en voiture. Par ailleurs la maison est impeccable,spacieuse, lumineuse, joliment décorée avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Albert est un hôte attentionné, chaleureux et d' un abord très agréable. C'est avec un très grand plaisir que nous envisageons de revenir chez Albert pour continuer notre découverte d'Amsterdam et ses environs.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

The apartment is in a great, vibrant neighborhood only minutes from the downtown. It is spacious with plenty of light. Rein is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Schöne, sehr liebevoll renovierte Wohnung mit super Ausstattung. Tolle Lage, sehr nah am Zentrum und dennoch ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Kommunikation einfach und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very nice and accommodating hosts in a peaceful neighborhood. Easy access to the train station and grocery store.

Wir wurden von Remy persönlich begrüßt und er hat uns das Apartment gezeigt und die Bedienung des Whirlpools erklärt. Außerdem hat er uns Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Per Nachricht konnten wir ihn immer erreichen und er war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Apartment und der Whirlpool sind sehr privat, sodass man sich wohl fühlt. Zudem war die Unterkunft super sauber und durch frische Blumen wurden angenehme Akzente gesetzt.

Marjolijn and Erik’s place was absolutely spectacular. The space is gorgeous, and it’s in a perfect location in the city, with so much around that is easily walkable. Immaculately clean, with so many bonus amenities. Marjolijn and Erik were very accommodating, and check in and out was a breeze. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Simon was always available for any questions we had…he is a very nice guy. Apartment is cute..perfect for the two of us and very close to the city center where restaurants and shops are located. The train station is only a 10 minute walk. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to rent in Haarlem.
