Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sister Bay

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

We loved our time at Chicory Hill. The house was absolutely pristine, exactly as promised in the listing-- so clean. So many warm and welcoming amenities. Beautiful house interior and beautiful backyard-- the property is just so lovely and immaculately kept. It immediately felt like home away from home. Ideal location in sister Bay, close to everything! Quick responses and friendly communication from hosts. It's clear that the hosts genuinely want their guests to have a stress free experience with every conceivable comfort during the stay. The local food recommendations in the notebook were very helpful. Chicory Hill surpassed our expectations, it was everything we had hoped for during our vacation. We won't hesitate to book again!

The house was extra clean and sparkling, and it had a good layout for our party of 4 adults to spread out and spend time in the house. The patios provided additional space to hangout and relax. The property itself was beautiful. We loved walking on the well-maintained trails that wind through the old farm fields and woods, and we were charmed by the ancient rock walls and trees and the peacefulness of it all. Communication with Ryan was great. He always responded quickly and reached out to us prior to checking in. We didn’t worry about anything because we knew Ryan was always available. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others!

Everything is as described. We loved the location. About 10-15 min from each of the places we wanted to visit.

We stayed at Winding Down for our 25th anniversary. We've been coming to Door County for over 25 years, and we've stayed at some nice places. But this is easily the nicest we've encountered. The space is expansive, but still cozy, quiet, serene and inviting. It is also immaculate. We enjoyed the selections of artwork and the attention to detail throughout the house. At one point we needed James's help with the refrigerator, and he was quick to provide assistance. It was also really enjoyable chatting with him. If the place is available again during our anniversary week, we'd love to return.

We had a last minute problem with our reservation at a nearby place and made a last minute request to stay at Pam's. She responded within minutes and we were on our way. Pam's place is in a great location, is very spacious and was perfect for our needs. The place is very clean, very nicely decorated and well maintained. We would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed a long weekend with both sets of parents and our toddler and infant. Lots of thought and detail at the house that made it feel cozy and comfortable. Beautiful space! Having the kids room with kid stuff made things so nice and convenient. One thing we didn’t realize when booking was that one of the advertised bedrooms was in the open loft so to access the other bedrooms and upstairs bathroom you were walking though the bedroom space. Would book again.

The 1900 Farmhouse was perfect for our group! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Nice comfy beds and linens. A great kitchen where we could all gather for meals. We enjoyed the fire pit outside in the spacious and private back yard. The grainery building was open but no takers on our stay as there aren't bathroom facilities out there. A cool space nonetheless! I love that they kept some of the original interior features in the main house. It gave the place a special charm. Great central location with either side of the peninsula about 10 minutes away. The house is close to the road but no issues with traffic noise at night. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and hope to be back next summer!

Had a great time at this cute studio apartment. Everything you need for a short vacation. Minutes away from great restaurants and close to scenic locations. The best part is the view from the studio and the pier/beachfront. Good recommendations from host! A must stay!

It was my husbands and my first time visiting Wisconsin and this ended up being the perfect place! It was near everything we needed to get to and was the perfect space and size for the 2 of us for a few days! They made everything easy to understand and had clear directions! They even checked in with us to see if everything was going well! I would 100% recommend!

Off the beaten path after days of exploring Door County by car. Nice & quiet!

We really enjoyed Jon’s place. It’s located in a quiet area yet within an easy drive to all the attractions of Door County. The place is very spacious and could easily accommodate 6 people, but had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and other amenities. We appreciated the provided coffee and the coffeemaker, as well as all included kitchen accessories. The grill on the balcony was a great addition as well and we enjoyed cooking dinner on the night of our arrival. Thank you again for a great place to stay!

We had a great stay!! The home was exactly what we needed - a living room supplied with games and local recommendations, spacious bathroom and open kitchen, comfy beds and a 2 minute drive into downtown!

This was a great place to stay for my trip to Door County! The apartment was super clean and decorated so nicely. The apartment is located in a nice quite neighborhood and other guests on the property were quiet and lovely. I'd absolutely stay here again!!

It’s a great place to stay for a weekend trip to door county. Everything is a 15 minute drive. Great place to unwind after a long day, and quiet.

Stunningly beautiful and peaceful property with privacy, rolling hills, and excellent proximity to the action. So fun to watch the sheep being wrangled in and out of the pasture each day! The cabin is a wonderfully restored barn with meticulous attention to detail. The main bedroom is a FANTASTIC respite and the open loft hosts a great view of the cabin, as well as out the numerous patio doors that adorn 3 walls, giving a panoramic view of nature, sunrise, sunset, wildlife, etc. The cabin feels secure, and very comfortable. I appreciate having access to the thermostat, too. The host, Amber, has wonderful communication. Much information is provided up-front, and she as very quick to respond to the one random question that I had. My only regret is that I didn't leave enough time in our weekend to check out the farm store! This home couldn't be more perfect. I will be back!

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It is perfect for a lowkey getaway and the location can’t be beat. Hoping to come back again soon!

My family loved staying here! When we stay in Door County we like to relax at our lodging and this place helped us do exactly that. It was really well stocked and was comfy for all of the temperatures we experienced during our stay! Would love to stay again :)

Amazing place -- the island and bay are beautiful, the cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a weekend (or more) of relaxation & fun. Hosts are friendly & responsive. We had a wonderful time, hope to return again in the future.

Fantastic place especially with a group. Boasting 10 real beds was a huge hit for us. Keep in mind the upstairs shower has a very low shower head but does detach and would be great for kids or a bath. The parking is great, the hose outside and the electrical outlets really are a nice touch. The best was probably the fire pit with tons of seating and the grill which while used worked perfectly

We stayed at the Cabin for a girls vacation. Location was perfect for visiting surrounding attractions. Chad sent an extremely helpful guide to the area. Cabin was great. Clean and plenty of space. Would stay here again.
