Absolutely recommended! Penelopi and her husband are excellent hosts who welcomed us with warmth and hospitality. The Apple Apartment is beautiful, superbly equipped and very well maintained. Numerous trees and plants surround the cozy terrace. The location is very quiet and you can reach the beach of Koutsounari in a few minutes. The city of Ierapetra is only a few minutes away by car. The interior is also very well maintained and the furnishings are in the typical Greek style. We were here for the second time and would come again and again. We have received recommendations for beaches and attractions that are almost exclusively known to locals. We are already looking forward to the next time we see Penelopi, Nikos, Sissi and Dobby again 😇😍

Elpida, a dream house, definitely recommended. Not only the location and the view are sensational, but also the house itself. We (married couple 63/61) were able to enjoy Angelika's unobtrusive and warm hospitality in May 2025 and had a relaxing week in or above the beautiful village of Mochlos. We have nothing to complain about, on the contrary - we have rarely found such a great accommodation. Perfect furnishings and very well-equipped kitchen, always a shady spot and very pleasant insect protection. The steep ascent to the mountain is no problem after the first exercise. The scent of the plants is simply wonderful. We were met by Harry who showed us around and he was super responsive. Absolutely loved the house, even better than described, and the pool was so welcome after a day out. We particularly liked the sound of the goats on the hillsides too. The beaches at Xerocampos were wonderful and we really enjoyed Liviko View and Kostas tavernas (also in Xerocampos).

We felt very comfortable directly upon arrival at the accommodation. There is a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms, a "master bedroom" and a "children's bedroom". We initially had some problems with the stove/oven, as the fuse was not set correctly, as you should not use too many electrical appliances at once and have to switch something in the fuse box every now and then. However, we were able to get help quickly and efficiently. There is a path directly past the beautiful garden to the (stone) beach, which we have enjoyed using, but also occasional dog owners or walkers can use this path. The transition of the gardens with the neighbors is fluid, so that the chickens/dogs/cats of the neighbors were sometimes in front of the door, which did not bother us as animal-friendly people. The neighbors have generally been very nice. We liked the east of Crete (explored with a rental car) very much!

We spent two wonderful weeks at Pinelopi's house in late May/early June 2025. Everything is as described! The terrace is simply wonderful and beautiful in the countryside as well as with sea views. The location of the accommodation is central and very, very quiet. Pinelopi is an excellent host! We were received personally and warmly. There was a bottle of olive oil, wine and raki as well as a plate of fresh fruit. In addition, several bottles of water. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy. Pinelopi is always approachable, and she also gives countless excursion and restaurant tips. Conclusion: We were completely thrilled Thank you again.

Irene was so helpful, quickly responding to any questions we had throughout our stay! Her apartment is truly right by the sea with captivating views of the rest of the city built in the hills to the west and beautiful views in front and to the east of the port. We highly recommend her as a super host! We have stayed in many Air B & B’s and her apartment in Sitia is now one of our favorites!😊💕

Lovely place, quiet, clean. Nikos and his family are taking care of their hosts. The only downside is that there is no washing machine.

Poppy and her father were very friendly and one of the best hosts. Poppy's father helped is with the luggage as the apartment is in the 2nd floor without lift. Her father was very friendly and showed us around the apartment. Poppy was very responsive and proactive, also provided us with little snacks and Crete sweets/Raki and small gift for my 3yr old.. as a host they were excellent. The apartment is as described and had great views also couple of beaches are walkable. There are also lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. This apartment is highly recommended and we would love to come back again. The only negative point is that the bathroom had a strong smell as it was without windows and had an exhaust.. but this should not put you away.

Absolutely fantastic, five stars quite honestly isn’t enough for Menelaos and his beautiful penthouse villa. The villa is perfectly located….it really couldn’t be closer to the sea, with unique views of Mochlos, the island and the coasts to the east and west. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay, and the balcony is just perfect….the hardest thing was to drag ourselves away from it! Most importantly Menelaos is an absolutely perfect host, we’ve never had a welcome like it and we immediately felt at home, Menelaos is a true gentleman. We’re lucky to spend quite a bit of time in Crete and will definitely return to Menelaos Penthouse Villa….in fact I’m already planning our next visit!

Alexandra is a delightful host and brought me organic cucumbers and apricots from the garden. The view is incredible and the location is a 5min walk to two beaches. There are oceanfront hiking trails nearby and a neighborhood grocery store next door. Highly recommend! 10/10

We spent 3 dream days in the apartment of Nikos and Chryssa's house. The apartment is consistent with the photos, very clean and very well equipped. The interior is very comfortable too. But the most impressive is the breathtaking view of the sea, the bay and the city of Agios Nikolaos. Day or night, it's magical! Our hosts were very attentive (eggs and fruits from the garden as a gift) and discreet. Please note that a car is essential for this accommodation. I recommend this accommodation, we will be back!

Very nice accommodation! The interior of the house was very cozy and very cool for the heat of the season. The yard is very boho and perfect for hanging out with friends in a very quiet neighborhood and if you miss something you can walk 20-30m just across the street where there is a Supermarket (Sklavenitis). Although the house already had what it needed from basic necessities. We did not have time to enjoy all the comforts of the house as we only stayed 4 nights and the only thing that made it difficult for us was the otherwise very nice bed on the floor due to the fact that my wife was pregnant. We would definitely choose the accommodation again for family holidays in the future!

We had the best time ever at My Sea Sight. I have no words to describe. Amazing, beautiful, peaceful place with a great infinity pool. Sunsets by the pool are unforgettable. It's super close to the city centre with loads of stores and supermarkets. You'll have plenty of options for great restaurants and bars. It's super close to the main bus stops and for the main tours pick-up points too. Stefani is absolutely amazing, super friendly and always doing the most to ensure we had the best holiday. It's such a lovely place, wish we had stayed longer! Stefani, you're the best host we could have asked for and I thank you for it! ❤️

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

Beautiful spacious apartment with great modern design and with a unique sea view from the balcony (sea only about 20 meters away). Everything you need. The landlord is extremely friendly and always available. We felt very comfortable. There are many good restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The free parking by the sea was also perfect. From there, it only takes 5 minutes to get to the apartment. The beautiful bar near the bedrooms was always well attended and accordingly it was loud there until the night. It's a matter of taste, but the beds were too hard for us. Otherwise, absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable and always had breakfast comfortably on the balcony.

We spent almost a week in this lovely apartment with our 2 year old and it was just perfect! The apartment contains few things but has everything you might need - it’s beautiful and cosy. Alexandra’s dad welcomed us and our daughter became a real fan of him (just like us, he was very friendly). We loved the proximity to the beach (so beautiful! And perfect for small children) and the nice taverns and cafes, while still being secluded. During two nights we heard some louder music (from a bar, maybe) but after closing the window that was also not a problem at all . Thank you, Alexandra, we really enjoyed our stay and could have easily stayed longer!

*A dream stay with breathtaking sea views in Crete* My stay in an Airbnb in Crete was simply fantastic! The accommodation offered a spectacular sea view, which made every morning a special experience. The apartment was modern and extremely clean, which immediately ensured well-being. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner. At my request, the towels were promptly renewed, and when an unexpected sandstorm arose, he immediately took care of cleaning the accommodation. The location was ideal, with many restaurants and shops nearby. The beaches were breathtaking, and I enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear water. The local Go providers were extremely helpful and gave me valuable tips that enriched my stay. Communication was straightforward, as they spoke fluent English. Overall, it was an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to everyone.

Wonderful! Thats the word to describe our entire experience at Evi and Dimitris’ charming studio on the sea. Makry Gialos is a quaint, small, peaceful seaside village away from noise and hustle bustle. Just what we wanted. The village center was an easy, short walk away if ever we wanted. Being right on the beach; listening to the waves all day long…..it was just what we wanted. We prepared all our own meals. The kitchenette was well equipped for that. The bed was very comfortable…. Absolutely a perfect stay. We were sorry to leave. We’d definitely stay here again. Dimitris and Evi were easily accessible and responsive to any and all queries and questions.
