Waterfront holiday rentals in Sitka

Amazing stay especially if you want a beautiful view and easy access to downtown.

Great place to stay, and as described in the post. The host was available in person or by text anytime we had a question, but was otherwise very hands off. The place had amazing views of the ocean, surrounding islands, harbor, and local wildlife. We are a family of five, but had plenty of room to spread out. Ten out of ten will definitely stay there again!

Katy has a beautiful home and offers great amenities like binoculars to watch for wildlife right on the ocean and wood for a beach fire. She was quick to respond to any concerns we had and was accommodating to late checkouts. Great private location that feels like home when visiting Sitka.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect. We have 2 toddlers and the crib and portable high chair made travel so much easier. The basket of snacks and coffee was also an extra special touch. The location was perfect and so close to everything, although we still loved having a rental car to head out to lots of hiking options. Candace had amazing communication.

This apartment is far more spacious than I expected based on the listing pictures. The living room, dining area and kitchen are quite large. As other reviewers have noted, the bedrooms are interior rooms with no windows. I imagine they could get stuffy in warmer weather, although there are large floor fans provided for each room. You can't beat the location - in the heart of Sitka with the Cathedral right outside the window. It is very quiet at night when the cruise ships depart, so noise was not an issue. We were concerned with parking, however there is plenty of parallel parking north of town, however you need watch the days you can't park from 4-7am. Sitka is a walkable town, so a car really isn't necessary.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay with lots of amenities! If you like to cook, you’ll find the kitchen very well stocked. Gorgeous views, huge deck, very spacious, top notch all around! Can’t wait to stay here again, the hosts were wonderful!

Wow! What an awesome place! The views were amazing and the place was very clean. This is my 3rd time to visit Sitka and this has definitely been the best rental property yet. The property had all the amenities you needed and more. The attention to detail was above and beyond. Very very comfortable beds that smelled like fresh laundry soap and a spacious kitchens with everything needed. If you’re staying in Sitka this property is a must try. Host responded to any questions quickly which was really nice too.

Once again, we had an amazing time at the Stone Lantern House! The stay is always such a good experience, and we tell others about it all the time.

Crissy’s place was a dream come true. Possibly the best views to fall asleep and wake up to in Sitka. The home itself is big and feels very spacious and homey and had everything and more! Crissy herself was above and beyond helpful. I was able to walk outside down the stairs and onto an incredible beachcombing and tidepoooling beach, it was incredible. Would not hesitate to stay again as soon as possible!

I cannot say enough about this place. Amazing location, beautiful scenery and views, bald eagles, everything. The neighbor, Loyd, was also amazing - he let our niece watch him clean fish on his dock, and gave us halibut to have for dinner our first night in. Close to town, comfy, and Nicki was amazing. If this is available do not miss the opportunity to book it!
