This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

Welcome to our loving studio apartment with additional bedrooms. It is located in the attic of a beautiful building from 1900 and has its own entrance through which you can come and go undisturbed whenever you like. The apartment has a spacious kitchen and a large living room with TV incl. Netflix access. Even those who have a lot to do will find a desk with LAN / Wi-Fi. In addition, you have your own small garden area with table and chairs.

Between the orchards

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Lauenbrück is located on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath with a varied landscape. In and around the village there are many ways to explore nature on foot, by bike or by canoe. In the nearby Landpark and the surrounding moor areas, cranes and native wildlife can be observed. Shopping/restaurants are available as well as a doctor/dentist. By train you can easily reach Hamburg/Bremen or take the Lower Saxony ticket to the North Sea.

Vacation home Franzhorner Forst

Enjoy your time out in our tasteful accommodation right next to the natural forest Franzhorner Forst. The apartment is family-friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a nice break. When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. In the shared large garden plot there is a private terrace, a fire pit and the possibility to barbecue and plenty of space to relax.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg.
