We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful accommodation? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is simply perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool simply a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to ensure that we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria. We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

We had an amazing quiet time, the villa matches the photos. Note that the occupants of the villa above can see you, which has bothered us a lot, and that if there are children in the house next door it takes a little off the side alone in the world with the noise. If not, it's great.

The house itself is modern, stylish and equipped with everything you could wish for. The spacious pool and the breathtaking view of the Cretan landscape all the way to the sea inspired us every day. But what really makes this place special is the host. From the first moment, he was incredibly warm, helpful and attentive - after a very short time, it felt as if we had found a friend on site. Whether tips for excursions, restaurant recommendations or just a nice conversation - he was always there for us and made our stay something very special. DejaView is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy and feel good. We will definitely be back.

Ieronimos is an exceptionally welcoming host! He guided us to the accommodation, showed us around and had left a small bottle of cold water. He was very available, warm and even brought us small cookies made by his wife one morning, and wanted to greet us before we left. The accommodation offers beautiful views, and is a 20-minute walk or 2-minute drive, from the beach. Thanks Ieronimos!

Excellent location and house

A Cretan house, a Cretan village, a charming Cretan host and Cretan raki- for myself I could not ask for more The house is simple but comfortable and had everything which we needed during our stay . Outside there is a wonderful patio with a view over the town and of course table and chairs for a lazy breakfast and evening meal. The village -well if you have never experienced Cretan hospitality before you will find it here. Our host- a friendly and articulate young lady with excellent English language skills provided us not only with treats but with a bottle of Cretan raki As to raki a warning l-in Pompia you will be offered raki especially after a meal but always remember raki is a drink for Cretan men and not foreigners like ourselves or for Greeks from the nainland-so be careful how much of it you drink. To conclude-the house, the village -a memory which will remain with you and draw you back

The stay in the beautiful cottage with breathtaking views of the sea and the caves of Matala was simply sensational! This view is absolutely worth the steep climb, so be sure to bring good shoes. Sofia is a warm and very attentive hostess, responds quickly and had prepared small delicacies for the reception. The cottage simply has everything you need, very cozy with attention to detail. Now I also understand why this house is almost always occupied.😉 In the evening it can get a bit louder when the live music is loud, but you know that when you go to Matala.

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

Our stay at Antonios's went very well. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped and matches the photos well. Despite an autonomous arrival, Antonios was very attentive, he is a quality host. It takes 30 minutes on foot to reach the historic center, but buses pass right next to the apartment. There is also a small supermarket next door, convenient for shopping. In conclusion, we recommend this accommodation in all sincerity.

We spent 2 weeks in the wonderful house. The property is very well equipped. Everything is also very neat and clean. The outdoor area is also generously designed. Numerous sun loungers, but also plenty of shaded areas in the heat. The hammock is an excellent place to relax. Surrounded by olive trees, the house is quiet. Pure nature. Upon our arrival, we found fresh fruit and even a homemade cake. The location is great for the southern part of the island. However, as is the case everywhere in Crete, a rental car is necessary. A good bakery is 800 m away. A large supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. Matala about 20 minutes. Communication with the host was problem-free. We got helpful tips. A great stay. We enjoyed the time very much. Gladly again at any time.

Amazing place to stay for some relaxation. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view on the sea, and the shower was super nice and warm. The hostess Maria was very nice and was always ready to help us. There’s a small restaurant nearby called Maria (a different Maria), and she makes the best food and is incredibly nice. Our stay here was amazing!

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

We spent wonderful and relaxing holidays in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully furnished, with high-quality furniture and it really lacks nothing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also organized the transfer from the airport and it worked out perfectly. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will gladly think back to the time and come back soon.

No complaints! Location in the heart of Matala but very quiet in the morning! Unusual place at the foot of the chapel! Small terrace to enjoy breakfast or a quiet evening to the sound of concerts from the bar restaurant nearby. The sea is a stone's throw away! The host is always present when needed to make our stay perfect. Small gifts await us on our arrival, very nice... we will come back with great pleasure 🏵️

We spent a week at Eva's place, in a very quiet location surrounded by nature - including beautiful views of the sea. The nearest beach is within walking distance, tamarisk trees even provide shade for longer stays. The nearby village of Lendas has nice taverns and 2 small mini-markets for everyday items. Eva is a very friendly and helpful hostess. The atmosphere in the accommodation, with other residents, is cozy and pleasant. The lovingly furnished amenities of the room offer everything you need in everyday life and are also very comfortable for just lingering. We will be happy to come back.
