Cozy cabin perfectly located in a winter/summer country. You can sit on the porch to see the cross country stadium, to walk straight out in the Birkebeiner track or out on great hiking trails. Short distance to Kiwi, sports shop, pub and restaurant. There is a safe and nice walking path straight from the cabin. Otherwise, there are a lot of activities happening during the year. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/ freezer / dishwasher. The bathroom contains combined washing machine/dryer. Gas grill and O guy available. Apple TV and fiber.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer snowshoeing and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Apartment centrally located in Sjusjoen

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place in the middle of Sjusjoen. It is 100 meters to the cross-country ski track and 200 meters to Sjusjoen ski stadium, 200 meters to grocery store, restaurant, sports shop and bus stop. You can use the garage, where the car is snow-free. If you are interested in downhill skiing, Hafjell is 40 minutes away by car and in about an hour you can reach Kvitfjell. You can get here by public transport and from the bus stop it is about 5-10 minutes' walk.

The cottage Bestebu is located in Sjusjøens finest cabin area, Heståsmyra. It was built in 2021, with high quality and contains everything you need. The location is unique - on large large and airy plot 920 meters above sea level, with sweeping views with no view from others. The cabin next door is rarely in use at the same time as renting, so it is quiet and peaceful. Put on your skis and slide 50 meters down to one of the world's best trail networks, or hike or bike on paths in the summer. Warm welcome!

Small cabin in Norways best cross country area!

A small and cottage in Norway's best cottage area and cross-country ski resort, Sjusjøen. The cottage contains a hallway/kitchen, 1 bedroom, bathroom, living room and terrace. In the living room, the sofa can be folded into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob and combi oven. There is no inlet water, but it is well-suited for those who want to take a little shower after a ski trip. In the bathroom there is also an infrared sauna that is quick to warm up.

Skihyttevegen Annex

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with beautiful views. The site is located on the hiking trail/cross-country ski trail. Smoking is not permitted. The hut is located off the main road. In the village, there is a hotel with dinner and a ski rental with a small kiosk/café during the ski season from Christmas to Easter. Outside the season, it is very quiet in the village. Bus stop towards Lillehammer is 500 meters away. Driving time to the city is 25 minutes.

Central to Sjusjøen, good sun conditions, views

Great loft cabin with 3 bedrooms and 7 beds for rent. Free electric car charger (type2, 25a), fast internet, multi-channel satellite dish (including free Viaplay), washer, fire pit, board game. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee machine (must buy Dolce-Gusto capsules), kettle ++. The cabin is south-west facing with good sun conditions and great views. There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you need to bring your own sheets and towels.

Small cottage on Sjusjøen

We rent out a cabin at Heståsen. It sits by itself behind the main cabin and gives a feeling of being alone. Surrounded by forest with immediate proximity to great hiking areas on Sjusjøen and Nordseter. It is 5 minutes to the grocery store and the center of Sjusjøen and Lillehammer is barely 20 minutes away. In winter time, there are miles of ski slopes 200 meters behind the cabin. We tread the trail through the forest so it's a short way to the trail.
