Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Come and experience the rural idyll and tranquility and greet the farm's animals.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor, is approx. 100 m2, and has air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. There is 1 step inside the apartment. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a rollaway bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and not in bed. We share the toilet at night, but otherwise, it's 100% yours.

It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

We strive to make the cottage personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good mix of new and old. We bought the cottage in 2018, renovating it a little along the way and as time allows. What we want is for the cottage to look cozy and personal. Stay in a charming old farm from the 1700s. In its heyday, the farm belonged to the King's riding bailiff and was one of the largest farms in the area, which the living room and breeding buildings still bear the mark of.
