Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Skaha Lake

We were 5 couples staying at Kurt’s. The place was comfortable, quiet and secluded. We were having a lot of fun singing along with Apple Music through the house speakers……. We were fortunate the place was secluded (no neighbours to worry about). Kurt met us and showed us around the place, and answered our questions quickly. There were plenty of towels for bathing and for the hot tub. Kurt’s was perfect for what we wanted.

The ad does not do it justice! Caitie’s cabin was beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable for our crew of eight. The basement was an amazing space for our kiddos- with Netflix, bunk beds, and even some toys! The hot tub was such a special treat after a full day of skiing. We really appreciated the extra touches like a second fridge and the use of a washer/dryer. We cannot wait for our return! Thank you for having us in your beautiful Apex cabin!

Leanne was extremely responsive with an easy check in/out process. The location is wonderful right on Shaka Lake with tons of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. The house is a little on the order side with some older appliance and furniture but the vibe of the property was great - loved the collection of VHS available! Would definitely stay here again.

what a beautiful stay! the host was so incredible. she literally would come over and check on us and check on the pool making sure everything was perfect bringing extra towels. she even left a couple meat and cheese boards for us. made me cry. this host made our stay so incredible and honestly if you want a beautiful private getaway, this is your stay. everything was perfect and the AC worked so good on very hot days. I would recommend this place over any other place and I've stayed at a lot of airbnb's but thank you so much to the wonderful host whoever stays here, I know you are going to have the time of your life

Beautiful location, quiet, had all the amenities we needed, very relaxing stay for our family of 6 & dog. I would definitely stay there again☺️

Diane created a welcoming presence, from her email communication to her onsite availability at the house. We appreciated her flexibility with both check-in and check-out times. Diane gave us helpful information about grocery stores and restaurants in the area. We chose this home as a place to gather as a family of 10. There were comfortable beds for everyone. The seating in the kitchen, on the upper deck and at poolside provided us with wonderful options for meal times. The salt water, heated swimming pool and the hot tub were the highlights for our kids and grandkids! Diane and her husband, Gordon, made sure that the pool was kept clean by covering it every night. It was wonderful to have the use of a barbeque on the upper deck, with views of the lake and spectacular sunsets. Welcoming surprises of freezies and local wine were very much appreciated by our family. Thank you, Diane and Gordon, for your kind hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Mike’s place. They were welcoming, so friendly, and responsive. The back yard sets this Airbnb apart. Private back yard with patio, fire pit, BEAUTIFUL gardens, and toys galore for our son. Highly recommend!

After an initial mistake of trying to get in the downstairs apartment we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We particularly enjoyed having air conditioning which made the apartment comfortable to stay in. We were very close to Penticton beach too.

We had a great time at Brenda’s, the space was exactly what we needed for our daughters wedding. The kitchen had everything we needed to make family dinners. There was lots of space and everything we needed was there.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We will absolutely come back again!

My mom and I come to Penticton once a year to visit my brother- Desert Shores was the perfect location for us. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. My mom has a hard time with stairs and this place was more than accessible! It was well stocked and the added little comforts were such a nice surprise! We will definitely book again as our go-to place to stay

This place was exactly what we needed for a long weekend. And we have 2 dogs, so that was a factor. The hosts were very responsive, flexible when I had to change dates, and had local recommendations, which was appreciated. While this is part of the same house as the hosts', these ladies cordoned it off strategically so there is private entry, own yard, hot tub, parking...all for you! The place is very clean and comfy, an add'l pull out couch if needed-also comfy, with streaming (Roku). Kitchen had all the cookware you needed, French press, etc. This was the first time, though, that we did not cook on a trip! Too many good restaurants. Right outside your entry is a true walking path. 10 min walk into town or Marina following awesome rushing creek. Not for swimming! Lots of wineries, dog friendly too! If you come back to USA, 2 bottle per person limit. Hosts were great, friendly, and we will be coming back to bike ride the KVT which was right there also but ran out of time.

I had a fantastic stay, clean place, great location if you're looking to explore Cawston and the South Okanagan. Really large fenced yard for the pup to explore.

A lovely private and peaceful spot with friendly hosts. The kitchen was tidy and well appointed, the bedrooms were spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. Lounge area was comfortable as well. The backyard was gorgeous and peaceful and made for a zen morning with my coffee. We enjoyed watching the Kettle Valley Train go by. Location is very close to well known wineries and not too far from the town centre and just a few minutes off the highway. Keep in mind there was no washer / dryer, but we were not there long so didn't need them. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Chantal’s place! She was very proactive in getting us check in details and responsive to any questions we had. The building has a lot of amenities (pool, hot tub, gym, bike storage, paddle board storage, work stations, and soon will have bbq’s and fire tables next to the pool area). The unit was extremely clean, with great views of the hillside and partial lake views. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary kitchenware. It’s a short walk to a number of great beaches and close to bike paths that run throughout Kelowna. There’s a great ice cream shop next to the building, coffee shop across the street, and a number of good restaurants close by. We would highly recommend Chantal’s condo and look forward to staying there again in the future!

I would stay here again! The home is waterfront, and extremely peaceful. Definitely a getaway from a busy life. There are many places to swim, and get sun. Also shaded areas to relax. The neighbours are extremely friendly. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This property was One of our favorites, the views were stunning. Very functional, comfortable clean. The host was great. She even allowed us to stay longer to enjoy the views. We recommend to all. There's a beautiful beach area to enjoy with dogs, chairs swings. Great for families in France. Thanks for this day.We loved it

Amazing place right on the water! So peaceful at night and nice and secluded area that is well maintained. Chanceline was very helpful for setting up a place to charge our vehicle and was quick to respond. The place is very well stocked and was very comfortable and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great stay here for a couple of nights. The cabin was really clean and well stocked. Beautiful quiet area up above Penticton. Hot tub was a really nice feature! The hosts were very responsive to our questions. would recommend!

Shauna was an amazing host, first and foremost. She helped us with everything we needed immediately whether it was picking up garbage to take out or delivering more toilet paper. She was very friendly and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. The cabin was wonderful. Even though technically it was small, it felt spacious for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and had everything we needed. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and soap, the kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies and they even had a nespresso machine with the pods, and there was a grill on the deck so we could cook outdoors. The hot tub was fantastic and so were the views. We were able to go on multiple bike rides, visit parks, and of course the swimming pool at the community centre. This was the perfect family friendly place to stay. Our kids rode their bikes every morning just outside the cabins and it was safe to let them roam around. We'd definitely stay here again!

My family and friends enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The kids loved the loft area hang out spot they got. I personally loved the kitchen how well organized and stocked with all the essentials it was, even to bake a cake, which we have to celebrate my brother's bday and making cupcakes. Awesome place for families.

This place is great! It was a perfect quiet spot to rest and had the COMFIEST bed. The BBQ was new and clean and everything in the place worked well. As it says there is no service, but we had no issue using the available wifi. We will be back for sure!!
