Family-friendly holiday rentals in Skidaway Island

This was the perfect stay for me, my husband, and our 1 year old! I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! It is decorated beautifully, was extremely clean, had easy access to the beach, and was perfectly located on the island close to Kroger (5 minutes away, if that), awesome restaurants, and plenty of bike paths. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook a meal very easily with what was there. The resort has several pools indoor and outdoor as well as a kiddie pool that was a hit with our toddler. The beach is a beautiful 10 minute walk along a boardwalk overlooking the marshes - just bring some comfy sandals as you walk to the beach and it’s totally fine. :-) We had the best time! This is our 3rd time visiting HHI and this was hands down the best rental we’ve used. We will be back for sure!

Our stay for 10 days in the end of May was great as we expected. Host Brandy was easy to communicate when we had questions. And that rental space was enough for 2 adult people and had everything that usually people need. Location is close to the beach which was important to us,- about 7 min. walking with beach chair on the back, even without beach cart. Bike rental was very close too. And fantastic beach in Hilton Head together with warm ocean, - what else could we wish for vacation?

Our stay was only a short weekend for a wedding. We did not get to enjoy the pool or beach. No issues with stay except the back half of the villa was much warmer than the front half. The bunk room with 3 adult children had 3 tower fans and they said the night was okay. Father In law was happy being warmer since he’s always cold. Overall it was a great location close to rehearsal dinner and wedding venue.

We had a wonderful visit. The was a small issue with the toilet when we arrived, and even though it was a Sunday followed by a holiday, she managed to take care of the issue quickly and with very little inconvenience on our part. We would recommend Gloria and this property

This stay was in the perfect place. Close enough to the beach to walk, and also access to other amenities on the grounds. A lot of places to go around the stay. Very comfortable in general.

James is an amazing host! We had another fantastic stay in Hilton Head, and this place was absolutely perfect. It’s just a short walk to the beach, in a very secure and peaceful area. We rented bikes and had them delivered right to us—super convenient! The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was really comfortable, and the living room has a great TV with cable for relaxing in the evenings. Thank you, James, for helping make our short trip such a wonderful and memorable time for our family!

Great stay! In building three with an indoor pool, hot tubs, arcade and more. Nicely decorated and had everything needed. Theresa was very responsive and accommodating.

Great house and wonderful host for your Savannah Airbnb stay. The host is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever dealt with. She usually responds within minutes. The house is located in a good area and near everything via a short Uber ride. I like that it sits in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and has adequate private parking. The home is very clean and has all of the basics for your stay. There is adequate bedspace and plenty of towels for guests. Other amenities include a hairdryer, fully stocked linen closet, soaps, shampoos and a convenient washer and dryer for guest use. The house has a vintage southern feel with modern conveniences like high-speed wifi and smart TVs. I highly recommend this property.

This was a great stay for me, my husband, and his family. In total, we had 6 adults and brought along our 2 dogs to stay and there was enough room to be comfortable for us all. The house was very clean, furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to cook in with all the supplies we needed. I loved that the garage was big enough to fit all of our vehicles! There were beach chairs and a wagon available to use if you didn't have your own, and the beach was just a short walk around the corner. You could easily walk the sidewalk from the house to access the rest of the island, and there were cute shops just one house over. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone as a great location for Tybee and Savannah!

The Jones Carriage house was a great place to stay for our weekend trip with our two labradoodles. Staying in a location full of rich history was a unique, fun experience as well as comfortable with modern amenities. The location was so centrally located we could walk everywhere and enjoyed how safe we felt walking our dogs late at night and early mornings. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and we would certainly recommend!

We loved our stay at Marina's beach hut. We walked to the beach morning and evening and views on the beach were beautiful. Everyone was so friendly. Had plenty of space for our family to either be together or spread out in the house space. House was well stocked with beach and home supplies. Loved having space for our car in the garage. Master bath shower was luxurious! Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Loved the keyless entry system!

The Jones St House was beautiful, peaceful and so enjoyable. There were 5 of us -High School girl friends for over 60 years😊traveling together to have a great time in Savannah and the house was perfect! We walked all over the city Ate in great restaurants And we recommend The Pink House , Hop On Hop Off Trolley Great Bars and Forthsy Park Powell Thank you

I loved this place. It combined convenience - so close to the beach and other HH activities - and seclusion. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with every amenity needed and I loved the screened porch. Suzanne was communicative and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to everything we needed. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts. They were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Communication was easy and prompt, and they offered great local tips too. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience. Everything from check-in to check-out was amazing. The house was clean and free of clutter, the coffee maker was easy to use, the kitchen amenities were as advertised. The home was welcoming and cool upon arrival and it was easy to get into the home. The instructions were clear and the book provided was an amazing help. Nothing went awry in the home and we will be booking again. The host was responsive and always willing to help. She afforded us to check-in earlier and we were blown away. The bedrooms were beautiful and the home was very aesthetically pleasing. The neighborhood was beautiful and it was close to a grocery store and our event destination. Again it was an overall amazing experience and when we visit again we hope to book you again. Thank you all for everything.

Our stay was great and as expected! It's a cheap option to stay on Hilton Head right by the beach with the option to use the pool as well.

With us and children’s families we had plenty of room and things to do right on the property for 6 adults and 5 grandchildren from 2 to 10 years old! We had a blast: plenty of beds, bathrooms, big kitchen and den, indoor swimming pool, game room, hot tub, fire pit, short street for bikes, garage. On raining periods or at night the house was great for eating, play and family time! We got the golf cart and biked minutes from Folly Field beach and also to Island beach which were great beaches. Biking on the beaches and the innumerable wonderful trails throughout Hilton Head is amazing for those who take advantage of it. Besides the beach adventures we also took advantage of the horseback riding at Lawton Stables and the Pirates of Hilton Head kids pirate ship adventure at Harbor Town which was something the kids and adults will not forget. We ate most of the time in our great kitchen but some did get to enjoy two fabulous seafood restaurants. Hilton Head is a beautiful island!

We had a great stay here! The house is comfortable, close to the pool & beach, with lots of beach accessories available to use. Check In/Out was easy and when I did reach out to ask a question the response was prompt.

We had an amazing week here! Very responsive host who gave us great recommendations. The villa is walkable to South Beach which was less crowded than a lot of beaches. Beautiful sunsets and dolphins here!

Super place. Spacious, clean, steps from the bike path and about 1/4 mile from beach.
