Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Skopelos

A magical place we’ll never forget! This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautifully restored with so much character — the stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy decor made it feel like a true island home. We loved sitting on the big veranda with our morning tea, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the sun move across the sky. The place was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The upstairs bedroom was a peaceful little retreat. The location is perfect — quiet and private, yet close to Skopelos town and beaches. We left with wonderful memories and would happily come back again. Thank you for everything!

Die Gastgeber Frau Maria und Herr Dimitris waren zu jeder Zeit sehr hilfsbereit. Sie waren überaus freundlich und höflich. Dimitris hat mich am Anreisetag von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt. In der Wohnung wartete Maria mit einem tollen Kuchen. Dazu stellte sie mir eine Tüte mit grichischem Mocka-Kaffe zur Verfügung. Damit konnte ich jeden Tag meinen Kaffe selber machen. Die Wohnung ist 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Sie ist gut ausgestatet. Supermarkt und Tavernen schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Gastgeber gaben mir gute Tips für Ausflüge. Am Abreisetag sorgte Herr Dimitris fafür, dass ich vom Taxi rechtzeitig abgeholt werde. Ich habe hier meinen 5-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und dafür bin ich den Gastgebern sehr dankbar!

This was the ideal little house for us - clean, comfortable with a lovely terrace. Close enough for restaurants and bars and the busy port but just slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for us! Manolis was helpful from the initial booking through to leaving even sending his asst Chris to meet us from the ferry and take us to the house. Very quick response to any message or question and full of helpful advice. Any issues sorted quickly by Manolis or Chris. Would recommend to anyone visiting Skopelos Town.

We had a wonderful few days here. Sherren has been a very responsive host before and during our stay; meeting us at the ferry port and then giving us helpful ideas for our stay. The apartment is modern but also sympathetic to the Greek culture. The double terrace is very special and we enjoyed some relaxing on the sunloungers on the top terrace for 1st few days. Unfortunately the weather changed for our last couple of days and had some torrential rain. There isn't anywhere to sit inside if this happens; but this was unusual weather and the apartment is exactly as described on Airbnb. Its just something to be aware of and it certainly has not put us off. We will be coming back. The location is fantastic and takes only a few minutes to walk down to the town. Also recommend the Mama Mia bus trip organised by Dolphin. Good value and also informative about Skopelos in general as well as the film stuff.

Jilly is amazing and her communication is top notch! Skopelos doesn’t really use addresses, so follow the instructions she provides & you can’t go wrong. Make sure to pin the apartment once you arrive to make it easy to return to after seeing the island or dinner. 😊 We forgot to pin it the first day but we can’t complain as getting lost among the beautiful homes was a hidden treat (they are so beautiful)! Jilly provided local recommendations for a tour of the island and places to eat and they were PERFECT! Zahos the taxi driver provided our pick up from the Agnontas port and gave us a tour of the hidden gems of the island. Wonderful! If you are there on Sunday, don’t miss dinner with live music at Restaurant Dougia. Oh my, sooo good and the atmosphere was perfect. The apartment was clean and gorgeous and walkable to so many beautiful views. There is no WiFi or TV, so make sure you have data to communicate with your tour guides. Disconnect and enjoy.😊 100% RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐

A perfect holiday. Check in was seamless, we were met at the port from our ferry and shown to the property. The property is just as described, very stylish, clean and a perfect location. The beach is almost empty, and perfect for swimming. Town takes 5 minutes in the car or a steep 20 minute walk. We stayed in late May and the taverna on the beach wasn't open, but the kitchen is well equipped so that wasn't an issue. Thank you so much! Everything was perfect!

Blue Wave Escape was wonderful, as were the views. Awesome club 10 metres away from the door. For working away from home, the monitor supplied and wifi / Internet connection via my own ethernet cable worked extremely well. I had no disconnection at all. Ioannis was very receptive and provided video for location of home which was up the hill. As we had an older gentlemen with us we took a cab to the top by the castle each evening (number supplied to Ioannis in agreement with taxi lady, Anthi) and walked down with no issues. Everything needed was available in the home and our stay was perfect! Highly recommended by my whole party and friends who viewed. Thank you Ioannis! If ever in Skopelos again we shall definitely re-book.

I was solo travelling and had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything and so close to town. The place itself is beautiful, modern, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were absolutely lovely. They provided clear instructions on how to find the property and even shared a list of great local recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which was super helpful. They were always available if I needed anything, and I felt completely safe during my stay. I’ve had the best time and will definitely be coming back!

Καθαρό, όμορφο και άνετο διαμέρισμα σε μία πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το λιμάνι. Τα διάφορα δωμάτια είναι όπως ακριβώς φαίνονται στις φωτογραφίες και πλήρως εξοπλισμένα με όλα τα απαραίτητα για μία άνετη διαμονή. Από τα πιο δυνατά στοιχεία του σπιτιού είναι το μπαλκόνι από το οποίο μπορείς να απολαύσεις την θέα όλες τις ώρες της ημέρας. Η οικοδεσπότης ήταν ιδιαίτερα εξυπηρετική, μας παρέλαβε από το λιμάνι ώστε να μην ταλαιπωρηθούμε με τις βαλίτσες μας και μας έδωσε προτάσεις σχετικά με τα διάφορα μέρη που μπορούμε να επισκεφτούμε κατά την παραμονή μας στο νησί.

Μείναμε στο δωμάτιο πέντε βράδια. Όλοι η οικογένεια ήταν πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική. Η Κατερίνα πάντοτε άμεση στην επικοινωνία,στη διάθεσή μας και ευγενική.Μας ενθουσίασε η θέα στο καταπράσινο βουνό και η ηρεμία. Το δωμάτιο είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, ειδικά η κουζίνα, που παρέχει ο,τι μπορεί να χρειαστεί κανείς. Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο.Σας ευχαριστούμε για τη φιλοξενία!

Vicky was the absolute best! She gave us great recommendations for food, bars, beaches, rental places, etc… everything we could’ve needed for our stay. She was super easy to talk to and really accommodating to whatever we may have needed! Her place was exactly what it looks like in the pictures (stunning) and the view overlooking Skopelos was gorgeous. We even ended up booking another night the same day we arrived! 10/10 thank you again so much🫶🫶🫶

Wunderschönes, sehr gemütliches Studio in Skopelos Stadt. Die Gastgeber waren extrem freundlich und supernett! Die Lage ist direkt an der Promenade, aber dennoch ist es abends nicht zu laut, weil die Fenster gut abdichten. Auf 2 Stockwerken verteilt (verbunden mit einer Holztreppe) ist es ein richtiges Zuhause, wo man sich gleich wohlfühlt. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestsattet, das Bett ist sehr bequem. Alles ist mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt eingerichtet. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Stathis was a great host! He greeted us very friendly and had many recommendations for us. The apartment is very good located and very nice. Stathis also has a great restaurant which is definitely worth going to. Overall we had an amazing time and he is a very welcoming host.

We chose this place due to its proximity to the port area as we were leaving early 9n the last day also, the restaurant and bar area were within walking distance. The property is well maintained we were provided clear instructions of where to meet the host who then walked us through the apartment. All the amenities were there as described, would recommend to those who are looking for a place close to the pet and bar / restaurant area.

The accommodation is absolutely amazing! In the perfect location right in the town with a view of the beautiful garden and ocean. The host Magda is so sweet and responsive! Skopelos is so beautiful and we were so thankful to have Magda as a host! Can’t wait to go back!

Was für ein Glück, in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft 6 Nächte verbringen zu dürfen. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und der Ausblick unbeschreiblich. Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl und zuhause gefühlt. Der Strand ist nur über einen kurzen Trampelpfad zu erreichen und man wird vom Paradies empfangen. Es gibt drei Tavernen, einen Mini-Markt, einen tollen Imbiss - alles fussläufig erreichbar! Das beste, wenn man mehr sehen möchte, kann man für 3,-€ Busgebühr die Insel erkunden, die Station Nr. 21 ist nur 100 m von der Unterkunft entfernt. Ich wurde darüberhinaus so herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet, ich würde deshalb immer wieder dorthin reisen! Herzlichen Dank - auch für die wunderbare Sonnenaufgänge!

Maria is absolutely lovely! We had such a wonderful time in her airbnb, she was really sweet - wishing us a great trip and rest of our summer. She had great recommendations when it came to us wanting to rent a boat and her Mum was great, making sure we were stocked on clean towels, etc. Quick response time and the apartment was just as described - we had sunny morning breakfast on the balcony everyday!

Martin und Lisa sind ein sehr liebes, sympathisches Ehepaar. Sehr humorvoll und wenn man Fragen hat, helfen sie gerne weiter. Leider hatten wir nach vier Tagen einen Motorrad Unfall und mussten den Urlaub abbrechen. Martin und Lisa haben uns so toll geholfen, wir alle waren sehr traurig. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Es wäre ein so schöner Urlaub geworden, das Apartment liegt wunderschön in der Natur, sehr ruhig, super entspannt und entschleunigend. Für Ruhe suchende eine wirklich sehr angenehme Lokation mit einem tollen Besitzerpaar. Liebe Lisa, lieber Martin, nochmals vielen Dank für alles.

Ospitalità, gentilezza e disponibilita! La mamma ed il papà di Marina sono stati molto cortesi e sempre sorridenti. L’appartamento è uguale alle foto, accogliente e spazioso per 2 persone, non mancava nulla. Fantastico fare la colazione sul terrazzino vista mare! La fermata del bus è la n. 9 e si trova proprio difronte alla villa, il bus fa 28 fermate, si riescono a raggiungere le spiagge più belle, ma la spiaggia difronte alla villa è a 5 minuti a piedi. La villa è in una pozione eccellente per visitare le numerose spiagge nei dintorni e si trova a 10 minuti di bus dal porto di Skiathos. Noi abbiamo preferito noleggiare uno scooter che ci ha dato una grande libertà di spostamento e nel giardino della villa c’è un comodo parcheggio. Vacanza perfetta! Don't let the pictures mislead you - the place is actually more beautiful than it seems! The house is super comfortable and provides a overwhelming view to the city. The host is extremely welcoming and supportive. It was a cute haven for my trip in Skopelos.
