Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Our beautiful self-catering guest house is on the grounds of our own home. Located at the foot of the historic Hill of Slane, overlooking Littlewood Forest and the rambling Boyne Valley, on 3 acres of countryside land. The bungalow is self-contained and situated in a private corner of the grounds, next to our own home. Quiet rural area suited to a couple or small family. Children are always welcome but most suited to families as a base as there are no play areas etc. for them here.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
