Beautiful nature regardless of the season and several lakes. Grocery store, restaurants and train and bus station are located in Vittsjö village. Guests have access to a rowboat, two kayaks and fishing from the jetty. Golf course, elk safari, waffle cottage and Skåneleden are located in the nearby area. Skånes Djurpark (animal park) is a 45-minute drive. There, Nordic animals such as wolves, bears, lynx and other Nordic species live in their natural environment. In Slättsjö, there are many beautiful walking paths through stately beech forests, both shorter walks, day hikes or longer trips along the Skåneleden. The area is known for its many lakes with mirror-clear water, the nearest lake Gårdssjön is 800 meters from the cabin. Värsjön (3 km) with a shallow sandy beach and good fishing. The cottage is surrounded by good mushroom and berry fields with plenty of both moose and deer.
