Cottage holiday rentals in Slovakia

María is a terrific host. She does everything she can to make sure your stay is pleasant. The house is clean and well equipped. This is our second year renting her house. We’d love to come again!

We felt great – this accommodation provided us with exactly what we wanted: peace, relaxation and the beautiful environment of Tokaja. Terézia and Eszter were amazing hosts – kind, accommodating, and attention to detail. The house was beautifully furnished, cozy and well-equipped, with an emphasis on every small element that created an exceptional atmosphere. From the first moment we felt like home. The hot tub was fantastic, perfect to relax after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Our only regret is that we only planned this stay for one night – it was very difficult to leave. But we trust to come back and enjoy this magical oasis of peace again.

This stay was beyond our expectations. The cottage is beautiful, cozy and well-equipped – we had everything we needed and more. Everything was clean and neat which is greatly appreciated. The neighborhood is beautiful, with a large land under the forest where you can relax and admire nature. Our group, especially women, enjoyed not only the comfort but also the beauty of the cottage. Communication with Matthew was quick and seamless, he always answered our questions right away. We were greeted on site by a lovely lady who showed us everything we needed to know. The cottage was even better than we expected and we would love to come back. We can only recommend her!

Thank you for sharing your holiday house with us. We loved the private location and the cabin, looked great in the snow. Appreciated the covered car parking spot. The house had everything we needed for our holiday. Well equipped kitchen, some boardgames and enough space for the 5 of us. Katka was very responsive when we contacted her and resolved problems quickly.

I strongly recommend staying at that holiday house, beautiful surroundings, nice host, everything as described. Our kids have already asked us when we'll come there again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Super friendly, accommodating and responsive host. You’ll get a beautiful view of the High Tatras from the rooms, the driveway and garden are huge and the location is perfect - most attractions within 15mins drive, super clean, spacious and modern house. It’s 10 minutes drive from Tesco and Lidl. The kitchen has everything from toaster to coffee machine, there are some spices for cooking and basics like sugar, salt, coffee beans, etc. This place is amazing for friends trips, but also for families with children of all ages. The jacuzzi is charged extra so just ask about that before your arrival - it’s definitely worth it and the perfect way to relax after a good hike or some sight seeing. Showers are powerful with plenty of hot water and there is also a bathtub. I’ll be recommending this place to all of my friends and family and hopefully we’ll be back too. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Alexandra is an endlessly kind andhelpful host. The place is super clean and has a wonderful garden with all the comforts. A special positive is that pets are allowed. We had a great time! We will definitely be back! We highly recommend it to everyone

We were greeted in person immediately when we arrived. Steve was very kind and helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described and very spacious. I would definitely recommend to stay here! Just take into account that the last bit of the road there could be quite slippery during the winter.

Really relaxing place. Nice home cottage, very charming, in the kitchen is everything you need. A bit squeekey floors upstairs, but it's part of the cottage character. Stairs going up to another floor are a bit steep and narrow which was a bit difficult for my mum. Spacious garden, lots of space to sit on sun or shade, to relax. Beara was very quick responding to my questions. No TV which is good for the kids! There is WiFi. We had a great time.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, right next to the road, which is very small. It's completely quiet there. The garden has an abundance of birds and squirrels. It's a great starting point for a trip to Bradlo and elsewhere in the neighborhood. The cottage is well-equipped, we found everything we needed. We'd love to come back :)

Cozy cottage is located in beautiful nature with lot of equipment for the big group of people. Everything is very good organized and you realize that you do not needed anything else. This was really above our expectation :)

it was a unique place. many experiences on the property. there can and not think about the weather because the entire stay provides many experiences and hosts are wonderful people :)

great place i really liked it

The cottage is very rustic but super cosy. Expect to go almost off grid as there is no internet and sporadic mobile. However we loved this as a family and embraced playing board games & snowy walks. Modra is a brilliant little town with great restaurants and a wine vending machine that was very handy. Juraj and his family were incredible hosts, feeding us on Christmas Eve and bringing local wine for us as well as offering lots of local recommendations. Thank you for a magical Christmas holiday.

We loved staying at Jakub's, the house was perfect. It was updated and modern, very spacious, and fully equipped kitchen. There were plenty of couches and chairs to relax on and enjoy our vacation. The bedrooms were a good size and their was ample relaxation space on both floors, and the outdoor space was very nice. The entire mood was relaxing and was in a safe and quiet area. One issue arose, but Jakub immediately worked with us to address it, and everything was fine. We had an excellent time and will certainly stay at Jackub's again next time we are in Slovakia. Probably one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! Fully recommend.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We stayed here with a group of friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The place was spacious, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The large rooms and cozy atmosphere made it perfect for relaxing. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and felt like home. It was a pleasure to stay here, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

A small paradise in Slovakia! We felt right at home and enjoyed the beautiful fenced garden and the warm summer evenings with our dog. Although the hosts live on the same property, we had plenty of privacy. Marianna is very warm and responsive! ❤️ The house has everything you need and it is furnished with a lot of love. The kitchen equipment (toaster, dishes, cutlery) is rather older, the dishwasher was out of order. But that didn't bother us. The house is a bit remote, which we enjoyed very much for our vacation. The weather was good, so we could enjoy the large garden. On foot, however, you cannot do much and also shopping / restaurants are not to be found in the area. Banska Bystrica (about 25 minutes by car) is a pretty town with very good restaurants and shopping centers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend the cottage ❤️
