Granny Woman Healer House

Granny Women healers of early Appalachia used herbs, common sense, Celtic spells, prayer, moonshine, and the King James Bible to heal all ailments. Based on long oral traditions and reconstructed on the spot were Granny Woman O'Clery's husband built a tiny cabin before being killed in a Indian attack. The cabin still holds all the healing powers of a restorative getaway in rustic luxury. Seamless convergence of inside/outside living and central to all modern Roanoke has to offer. Come by ya'll.

Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
