Family-friendly holiday rentals in Smithville

We rented Mesquite Retreat with my two brothers, sister and brother in law for a wedding we were attending for a nephew. My youngest brother lives in Cedar Creek and this was the best and closest place to stay. The Hyatt was right next store to my brothers house but this house worked out much better. We were able to casually wake up and eat breakfast. We cooked in one night. Had lunch a few days. The place is well laid out. Large kitchen, dining area and living room. Pool and outdoor patio area was very nice. Beds were comfortable and master bedroom had a huge jacuzzi and shower. The place is remote but if you want peace and quiet and a comfortable home to share with family and/or friends then highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay here! It's the perfect weekend getaway for Texas residents, and a chance to enjoy their wonderful outdoor space. We had our toddler and dog with us along with a couple friends. The layout was perfect for our group, and the space was very kid-friendly. We loved the firepit, and the grate over the top made me much more comfortable having our toddler and dog outside while the fire was going. The hot tub was great in the evenings, and we loved all the space to roam around. We're hoping to make it an annual trip!

This was a great place! I felt very comfortable during my stay. It was very clean, and the location was great. I will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful peaceful property, a wonderful experience to stay here with nature and the animals as well as Walter and his wive's being great hosts that make you feel like family.

Our family was able to stay together at this country retreat before one of our son’s wedding that was happening nearby. It was a great location for the venue and allowed us extra time together plus the bonus of being a beautiful place. Our nearest hotel options would have been a very different experience. The beds were comfy and the weather was perfect to spend time outside and enjoy the front porch and surroundings.

The bunkhouse is a great rustic experience in the middle of a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and beautiful huge oaks. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house had a great vibe and we had plenty of space for 3 people. We enjoyed our time staying here

This house is located in amongst ranches complete with Longhorns and roosters! However, it's a short trip on the highway to all the amenities and action of Austin! The hosts are absolutely charming and Melvin even whipped up some healthy, vegetarian snack for us to try!

We rented the inn for our out of town friends and us to stay the weekend. We originally thought it was still a bed and breakfast but when we met with Shawn and Bill we found otherwise. That was not a big deal as there are many incredible place to eat with walking distance including Maxine's, The Store House and many others.

Me and a few friends came down to compete in an Amateur National Championship Disc Golf Tournament … this met our needs perfectly. Bien was super responsive and friendly.

Best Airbnb for big groups!! Big enough space for everyone to relax and hang out, we loved the pool and how private it was. Brain was very attentive and amazing. We will definitely be staying here again!

super nice host! we spent time at the house over memorial weekend and was a group of 10 of us big house had plenty of room for everybody and plenty of towels for the pool pool was super big they even had a grill out there we had an amazing time at this house I'll definitely would love to book again and I suggest you as well for every penny thank you to The Host

Heather's place was super clean, private, and easy to access. I was in town for a wedding weekend, and I was within walking distance to the bride's house. We were able to bring the dress and suits over to Heather's to steam/iron. The garden is beautiful, and, although I never used it, the pool looked pristine. I would definitely stay again. Thanks, Heather!
