The location of the accommodation is magnificent; directly in front of the famous mountain Kirkjufell and on the beach. Our children loved the proximity to the water. We stayed here for four nights; there was so much to discover. Our hostess was very warm and very easy to reach. We were allowed to see the lambs on the farm. When we had forgotten something in the vacation home, she made sure we got it back. Thank you again for that. Clear recommendation. We would always come back.

This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

Ursula is a friendly and accommodating host. Her place was spacious, comfortable and clean. The small welcoming treat she provided is a nice expression of her appreciation for her guests. I highly recommend this place and would stay again.

I loved Greta's place! First of all the surroundings are absolutely breath taking, it's worth it just for the view! In the duplex you stay in the bottom half with it's own private entry door. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were spotless and comfy. Greta is so responsive and kind and even knits sweaters, I had the pleasure of meeting her and buying one! Absolutely worth it to stay here! Plus the hot tub with that view was just a bonus, my favorite place to stay so far!
