Barn accommodation in Snowdonia

We had a truly memorable stay at the cottage during our first trip to Wales. We were mainly looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat — and this cottage was perfect for that. While we didn’t plan to explore much, we did visit Portmeirion and a few nearby villages. The location is great, with easy access to many activities if you’re looking for more adventure.The cottage was beautiful,very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. Though it can host up to six people, it was just the two of us, and we did find ourselves wishing our friends were there to share the experience. One of our favorite parts was sitting by the large front window, watching the train pass by and spotting horse and lambs in the distance. In the evenings, the views of the mountains and floating clouds were beautiful and the garden flowers added to the charm.Jeston was very responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother. We made lovely memories here and would absolutely love to return.

Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

What an amazing place to stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, everything we needed for a weeks stay for 5 adults. Maxine made the place so lovely and cosy. Maxine was so informative of the local area and gave recommendations to where to visit. Would definitely recommend Maxine's place, and would consider returning, so much to do and see. What a find! The property is very well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views from the big windows. It was lovely to go to sleep to the sound of owls and to wake to birdsong and sheep. Megan was the perfect host, with thoughtful and useful communication. We’d love to come back!

Mirka and Rob were amazing ! The farm was beautiful! They were so accommodating! Even closed off a field so my dog who wouldn’t settle could have a good run and sniff with all the new smells! The stable was stunning ! The views of the landscape ! The sea! The sheep and cows were amazing! Spending the weekend waking up to this was so relaxing! Felt super safe!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

A unique property in an absolutely stunning setting. If you're looking for peace and quiet, and a bit of a break from everything, then this is the perfect spot. We had a lovely stay!

I had a great stay for 3 nights, Ruth was very kind and caring, she phoned me up a few times to give me some helpful information and to make sure I settled well and do not need anything else. The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, clean with all amenities as described. I will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Ruth for making my stay wonderful!

All round a perfect stay, very clean and had everything we needed. Attention to the fine details such as maps and any information for snowdon. Lovely and quiet area and only around a half an hour drive to snowdon. Could not recommend more for the price.

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

Really enjoyed staying at Emma’s, close to most things on Anglesey, just 10 mins in the car to most places. Hot tub was really nice, only managed to get in it once due to the weather. Beautiful walk on the property for the dog surrounded by wildflower meadow. We met the sheep, alpacas and chickens. All very interesting. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks

Amy’s house was so comfortable, cozy and clean you felt right at home from the minute you arrived. The location is very quiet with stunning views. Amy was very helpful and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. I would happily stay here again if we were going to North Wales again. The house is a short drive to lots of beaches and close to Chester and other main cities if you fancy a day trip. We enjoyed every minute! Thanks so much Amy!

Kerry was perfect throughout helping out constantly from takeaway options nearby and to advice for snowdon! Location is perfect for the Pyg track and the Miners Track. Cottage is lovely too with a lovely outside area!

This property is just amazing. Beautifully furnished and laid out it really is a special find. Exceptionally comfy beds and the copper bath and jacuzzi are pure bliss and do a superb job of soothing tired achy muscles. All very private and secluded but owners are next to it on main house. Had a lovely chat with Rebecca . Would 100 % love to stay again in fact I loved it so much I added another night this time 👍

Cary's is the best host, so friendly and has plenty of good recommendations if you wish to explore which you should! property is clean and understated in the photos, well worth the price and more. hot tub is perfect touch, scenic and private location away from life's hassles.

We had a lovely calm and relaxed time at Shepherd’s Hut. It was very private and peaceful, seemingly miles from anywhere with no neighbours and only the sheep and wildlife for company (swallows, red kites, rabbits and a hare). The views were amazing and we loved the hot tub. The house had everything we needed and was bigger than we expected from the pictures. The bed and sofa were both nice and comfy. Hosts Rosie and Sandra were helpful and quick to respond when we contacted them. According to OS maps there are quite a lot of footpaths in the area but several of them seem to be overgrown or blocked off. However the local roads are quiet and pleasant to explore on foot with friendly sheep everywhere... The nearby towns of Rhayader, Llandrindod Wells and Knighton are all interesting and well worth a visit, as are the spectacular dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys We had a great time and were sad to leave

I had the most wonderful stay at the Loft in Deganwy. Wonderful hosts. The Loft itself was beautiful and had the perfect facilities for my stay. I stayed for a month for a University placement in a nearby Hospital and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to stay up in North Wales, And look forward to hopefully returning soon!

We were a family group, varying from 18 months to late 70s and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was situated in peaceful and beautiful surroundings but conveniently situated for local activities. We visited Caernarfon, Beddgelert and Snowdon's summit during our visit. This was our second visit and we look forward to visiting again in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful property. Highly recommend - an immaculately clean and well-presented cottage in a secluded spot made for a tranquil weekend. Great communication from booking through to leaving and restaurant recommendations were very much appreciated. We’ll definitely visit again.

Helen's cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a nice peaceful break in the picturesque village of Llanasa. It is the perfect spot to explore all North Wales has to offer and the stack of information provided at the cottage assisted us greatly with this. The cottage is immaculate and there is a patio area outside where you can sit and all you hear in nature. Helen and Sam are the perfect hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their lovely cottage.

We were so delighted when we arrived at this amazing cottage with its stunning coastal and mountain views. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need, plus a safe, enclosed garden for our 2 dogs. Simply perfect in every way. Thank you Michelle and David. We will definitely return 😃
