Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Enjoy two bedrooms in soft tones, a naturally shaped dining room with a sofa bed, along with a light and rustic kitchen. Serra da Arrábida, surfing, walkways, trails, bike path to Costa da Caparica, Golf and Pools of Aroeira and Lisbon. We are in the center of everything and you can still walk to the beach.
