My family of 2 adults and 2 young boys stayed here for 5 nights. The place was spectacular, with the wrap around glass windows giving an uninterrupted view of the pristine surroundings. The place was perfect for aurora viewing without tours - we could just look out the window at the sky or step out the door and watch the light show - which was ideal with young kids. The 2 dogs on the property are absolutely adorable and came by everyday to say good morning and get hugs. The kids also loved sledding down from by the front door and onto the frozen river by the property. The kitchenette was sufficient for our stay. Suvi and Janne were welcoming hosts and made our stay very comfortable. We had a memorable trip and hope to visit again.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Janne and Laura’s place. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly nature. The cabin is beautifully situated in a peaceful, scenic area that feels like a true escape into nature. One of the absolute highlights was the private outdoor whirlpool and the sauna—both were absolutely perfect after a day of exploring the snowy surroundings. The attention to detail and care they’ve put into the space really shows, making it both cozy and comfortable. We visited in March and were lucky enough to witness the northern lights dancing across the sky right from the property—an experience we’ll never forget. This stay exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. If you’re looking for an authentic and relaxing Lapland getaway, we couldn’t recommend this place more!

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, abgeschieden und mitten in der atemberaubenden Natur. Die Umgebung hatte es uns wirklich angetan. Wer Glück hat kann Rentiere und Nordlichter direkt von der Terrasse, der Sauna oder dem Whirlpool aus beobachten. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet – es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Ausreichend Handtücher, genug Feuerholz, kuschlige Decken & eine Spülmaschine. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Tranquil stay with luxury amenities for a cottage (underfloor heating, hot tub, sauna etc.), glazing for spotting the aurora borealis in the evenings from inside and quick access to Levi etc. I was straight out on the xc-skiing slopes whether on my own or pulling along a kid in rented sledge. Our kids learnt to alpine ski and loved everything the outside had to offer, along with their bedroom, and extra toys in the cottage. We had everything we needed for a perfect family stay, no one wanted to leave!

Wir haben es absolut geliebt! Die Hütte ist total heimelig und lädt zu gemütlichen Spielenachmittagen vor dem flackernden Ofen ein. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sogar Basislebensmittel wie Mehl, Tee, div. Gewürze, Nudeln, Reis, etc. waren vorhanden. Nicht unwichtig wenn der nächste Supermarkt 70km entfernt ist. Keine fünf Gehminuten ist der See entfernt, ein perfekter Ort zum Polarlichter schauen. Freie Sicht in alle Richtungen, sofern es die Wolken zulassen ;-) Keine nennenswerte Lichtverschmutzung in der Umgebung, ein Traum. Tero hat uns auf Anfrage diverse Aktivitäten empfohlen, wodurch wir Janne, den Rentierzüchter in Unari kennengelernt haben. Das war wirklich eine besondere Erfahrung, zwischen hunderten von Rentieren zu stehen, die sich wie wild ums Futter getummelt haben. Wir sind uns wie in einer Tierdoku vorgekommen ;-) Also wer es gerne abgeschieden mag, ist hier genau richtig :-D

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The location is absolutely beautiful on a quiet lake and very private. The house is stunning, immaculate with a well equipped kitchen. Katja was friendly and very helpful especially when our rental car got a flat tire! We hope to return in the winter time.
