Absolutely amazing place with incredible views over fjords, waterfalls and mountains around! Super spacious, cozy and with a lot of light! Sitting on the terrace and enjoying the views is something which we could do forever! Thanks Erle!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Lasse and his family were extremely welcoming. The property was spacious, airy and extremely clean and exceeded expectations. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathrooms and enjoyed stunning views and use of the jetty. Just wish we were better kayakers!

Arne's place has the most beautiful views of the ocean and that alone makes it worth every penny! My family and I made so many precious memories.And even with such a gorgeous ocean view it is still very conveniently located near a big Kiwi supermarket. House is very cozy and well equipped in every way. 2 sets of BBQ pits, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. I will definitely recommend staying at Arne's house if you are in Bergen, to me and my family his house was the highlight of our holiday in Bergen.

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.

The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Fantastic place, perfect location. I am tempted to return to Norway just to stay here again. It was an easy drive to sites in the Bergen area and we even did two far-flung day trips, after which it was great to come back to this beautiful relaxing place. The kitchen is so well stocked that I could truly cook (eg a quiche). We arrived on a Sunday when everything is closed and were so pleased that we were able to make use of Gunn’s stock of dry goods - plus she left us a bottle of wine! And I am so grateful for Gunn’s tenant (in the other half of the villa) who luckily was home to let me in when I accidentally locked myself out. I was disappointed at first to discover that the TV room wasn’t working but then I completely forgot that it even existed, because I always just wanted to be upstairs looking at the spectacular view. We even saw the cruise ship we arrived on head back out to sea.

Such an amazing location in Olden and we loved being right on the water. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. We loved spending time outside in the jacuzzi and using the fire pit. The town is nearby and the home included everything we needed.

We stayed at Anne’s with three families with seven kids age 11-14. Great spot and big property that is perfect for kids. Idyllic setting and tons of space and toys. Best of all was that there were night bathrooms that couples could each have their own and not even have to share with kids! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, well-stocked home. Anne and Chriss were super responsive and wonderful hosts. The location was about 25 mins from Bergen. Kids loved that it was far away from city without being too much of a drive. Only downside was that nearby restaurants and grocery were minimal - but that was also part of the charm!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

Turfølget vårt besto av to familier med fem barn, og på det meste var vi ni personer. Flott hus med tre etasjer og en stor veranda - og med absolutt alt vi trengte. Det eneste som var nødvendig å ta med selv var sjampo og balsam (og andre personlige velværeartikler selvfølgelig). Vi satte ekstra stor pris på grillen og utepeisen/pizzaovnen, at det var tilgjengelige leker til barn i alle aldre og at det var mulig å lade elbiler. Vaskemaskin og tørketrommel satte vi også stor pris på som småbarnsforeldre. Fikk generelt raskt svar på det vi lurte på. En kort biltur unna sentrum i Ulsteinvik med et stort utvalg av butikker.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

We had a fantastic time at Henriette's beautiful mountain hut as four adults traveling with our medium sized dog. The place was cozy on a rainy day and gorgeous in the sun. The hot tub with peaceful, private mountain views was amazing in the morning and the evening, and the sauna was great too. In between day-trips we enjoyed grilling on the deck and cooking meals in the cute kitchen, eating at the big dining table, and playing board games there that we brought. The beds were very comfy and we had relative peace and quiet throughout the little mountain resort area the whole time. Great memories, and would definitely recommend. Thanks Henriette!

Fantastisk hytte. Det var mykje bedre enn forventet! Me har aldri kost oss så mykje som denne helgen.

Wir hatte eine unglaublich tolle Zeit in der Blockhütte von Tommy! Der Gastgeber hat innerhalb von wenigen Minuten auf Nachrichten reagiert und uns sogar mit Grillkohle am ersten Tag versorgt, da sonntags die Geschäfte in Jondal geschlossen waren. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind unbezahlbar, einfach magisch. Wir haben täglich die Sauna und den Whirlpool genutzt und die Stille genossen! Ein absolut perfekter Ort zum Entschleunigen. Mein Mann hat jeden Tag geangelt und wir haben den Fisch auf der Terrasse gegrillt. Da wir wunderbares Wetter hatten, haben wir eine Liege auf der Terrasse vermisst, aber das ist wirklich Klagen auf hohem Niveau 🙂 Vielleicht wäre noch wichtig zu erwähnen, dass der Weg zum Boot ca. 10 Minuten beträgt und wer angeln möchte, sollte eine eigene Angel mitbringen. Ansonsten kann man für kleines Geld eine in Jondal kaufen.

The home was absolutely stunning — perched in a breathtaking location with sweeping views of the mountains and a peaceful river flowing nearby. Every detail was perfect, from the cozy yet elegant interior to the incredible wine room and the expansive deck where we spent hours just soaking in the scenery. Two sparkling clean bathrooms made our stay extra comfortable, and the surprise addition of sheep wandering nearby added such a magical, authentic touch to the Norwegian countryside experience. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the host. After a disappointing experience at another Airbnb, we were in a tough spot — and they welcomed us last minute with kindness and grace. The host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely warm. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better person to host us. If you're coming to Norway, this is the kind of experience you're dreaming of.
