Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sogn og Fjordane

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

Super great accommodation with breathtaking views! The jacuzzi and the free ferry to Leknes gave our stay the perfect finishing touch. In addition, the Airbnb is very cozy/lovingly furnished and fantastically equipped, including numerous board games and children's toys. we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

Had a wonderful stay here. Living room was comfortable. Great view and easy walk to the centrum. Able to do a load of laundry which was great. Comfortable beds. Would recommend!

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

A great place to stay as described, internet was fast, host was friendly, and amazing views. I highly recommend!

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

The location of this cute apartment was amazing! Great location for hiking, the waterfalls and restaurants are just a short walk away. Parking could not have been any better. The apartment was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for a great visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Anna’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. The beds were so comfortable too! The views right outside the Airbnb were breathtaking. The Airbnb is a short distance to downtown Flåm - perfect location for anyone trying to explore this area. Finally, Anna’s hospitality was top notch - we felt right at home the moment we arrived! Thank you Anna for being such a spectacular host! I give this Airbnb and Anna my highest recommendation.

This place was perfect for our needs. Group of six. Came in for one night. Able to make a great dinner the kitchen. Great nights sleep. Easy access to the via feratta. Would stay agin! Great place.

Beautiful apartment on the 2nd floor, close to the ferry and the small supermarket.

I felt completely comfortable in the accommodation! It is very cozy, sparkling clean and a real little oasis of well-being. Everything you need was available – from kitchen equipment to loving details that made the stay particularly pleasant. The hostess was very warm and helpful. The connection to the city was also easily accessible by public transport. I can only recommend the place and would love to come back!
