"Great location with a breathtaking view of the fjord. The availability of the boat with a fishing rod is really fantastic. Our neighbors caught some mackerel for their dinner; we weren't that lucky. Also worth mentioning is the apple juice sold by the owners, which is super delicious. In short, I highly recommend this Airbnb, which offers excellent value for money."

Very lovely place for stay. Their house is along the Fjorde and opposite to the snow mountain. You can enjoy the view though the window. Gunvor and Roar are both friendly to support us. Gunvor helped us to use the boat.

It doesn't get any better than this: a rustic house with several balconies with the Lusterfjord right in front of you and a view of a waterfall. From here, you can do so much, such as a hike to the glacier tongue and the Jotunheimen National Park is quickly accessible. Camilla is always available and has many tips and hints. Full recommendation!!

A wonderful location and a cozy spot. We enjoyed the proximity to the center on Balestrand, and the amenities of the house, including the use of kayaks to use on the fjord. Splendid accommodations.

Absolutely beautiful view and surroundings!

Very cozy, comfortable and well equipped cabin with a great view, right by the fjord. Secluded location, quiet and peaceful. The host was nice and gave good information about hikes and road trips. Nice mountain hikes from among other things. Gaularfjellet and Balestrand, both places about 30 min. drive away. Boat was just below the cabin and could be rented for walks and fishing in the fjord. Highly recommend this place for recreation and as a starting point for excursions in the Sognefjord.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The surrounding nature is beautiful and calm and the cabin has everything needed to make the stay cozy and comfortable.

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We travelled as a family and stayed 3 nights at Maria's wonderful place! We really enjoyed it and wished we would have booked longer. The house is very cozy, clean, well equipped and comfortable. It's very quiet around, the road did not disturb us at all, and it has this stunning location right at the water front with the little pier. The communication with Maria was always great and fast. Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had four wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the fjord and the landscape is stunning in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, the underfloor heating is pleasant, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. And you can admire a parade of cruise ships sailing to Flam and back. Communication with our hosts was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. Balestrand is an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Flam. Shopping facilities, bike rentals, and an electric car charging station are all available. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts. One more thing seems important to me: you can't drive directly to the house; the short path leads across a sloping meadow. My wife has a slight walking disability, so it worked. For people with more severe mobility restrictions, this may be difficult.
