Beachfront holiday rental in Norway

Caroline’s place was wonderful. Magical views in a lovely spot in town. Caroline went above and beyond accommodating our little family. It made the whole stay extra special. Would definitely come back!

We are so grateful to have had such a long stay in this house: the wonderful view to the see and the mountains in the changing light and colours was so beautiful - also the natural surrounding of the house - unforgetable! The house inside is very tastfully furnished - the kitchen perfect. We could feel, that Kundan lived here - sometime ago. A beautiful Norwegian cabin in a great location.

Like the other reviews, we are delighted with the stay and the reception. Lovely cottage, beautiful and peaceful location and very nice and welcoming host. There was a rowing boat and a fire pan available and beautiful surroundings. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Hilde's villa was really lovely and fully corresponded to the description. The views from the windows and terrace to the mountains were indescribably beautiful. We had problems with our car, but with Hilde's help we got very quick help with a car rental and maintenance nearby, even on a Saturday night. Highly recommended accommodation ❤️

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Very neat cottage where everything works. Beautiful scenery for the fjord and Kjerna, where it is worth hiking. A small but good rowing boat and a dock with good fishing. Our son caught a good-sized cod, so the fishing waters were as expected! We will definitely visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at the house of Ingvild. Stunning views, a private beach, the boathouse and a lot of activities for the kids. We spend a lot of time in the garden with a lot of nice spots to sit and just relax or read a book. It was hard to leave this little paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as the pictures and description said it would be. The balconies are a huge bonus and it’s close to many eating places and activities. Most places are walkable from the condo. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. One of the best hosts I’ve experienced through Airbnb.

Bjorn Harry was very welcoming. We appreciated the welcome basket and special touches. This was a great place to relax after our Norwegian adventure. The kids loved the heated pool and hot tub. Easy walk to a beautiful beach.

We had the most pleasant days in the cottage! Beautiful cottage, really nice view and area. We took advantage of both the outdoor pool and the rowing boat, which was completely idyllic. John was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Can only be recommended, and we will gladly return.

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Super nice house. You can get all you need here. Per and Lin are very kind and reply messages so fast. I would like to stay here whenever I am in Drammen :)

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

As always, our stay was incredible, and Jørn is an excellent host. Whenever I'm in KS, I'll definitely stay here. Clean, central, and easy to communicate with. Very recommended !

We very much enjoyed having Raymond’s place as a base for exploring the Lofotens. It was well located for popping into Henningsvær for meals and into Svolvær for groceries, and put most hikes within easy enough reach. The home is striking, and our group of 7 found we generally had enough space. We loved hot tubbing under the midnight sun. Excited to return!

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and view are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is no problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily cater for yourself. The coffee machine and the Sodastream are particularly worth mentioning here. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The whirlpool on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. She informed us about the Artic Run, where we had the opportunity to meet her, which we were very pleased about. We totally enjoyed the days in Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope that we can come back in the winter.

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

We had a lovely stay at Beatte & Håvard's cabin. They made us feel right at home including special touches like having a few toys for our 6 year old. The location was magical and our only regret is that we only booked for 4 nights instead of longer. Everything is set up to be cozy and peaceful. They had great recommendations for local hikes and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Definitely recommend!

This house? An absolute hit! Right on the coast, with a view that is so beautiful that you have to pinch yourself every now and then. Highlights? There are many! – The hikes in the mountains? Great! – The beaches? Postcard level! – The island of Leka? An excursion that you can't miss. Sleeping was completely overrated, by the way - we wanted to savor every minute here. Our trick: simply don't go to bed in the first place. It worked great (well, almost...). A big thank you to Snorre and Britta! You have created a real piece of happiness by the sea with this house. We'll be back, whether you like it or not😉.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. From the beginning, Fredrik was communicative leading up to the stay. He offered advice and recommendations for things to do in the area. This home is immaculately designed and decorated. Very Scandinavian and minimalist design, which is my personal favorite. On top of that, the view is just gorgeous. It was hard to ever leave the home. We hope to come back again one day and stay again.
