Cabin holiday rentals in Sognefjord

Vi hadde noen nydelige dager dpå hytten. Fantastisk flott sted. Koste oss med både fisking, grilling, bading i stampen og innsjøen, og testing av en helt ny sauna. Kort vei til Kalvåg og Knutholmen. Veldig hyggelig vertskap som la til rette for at vi skulle få best mulig opphold. Anbefales på det sterkeste! Dette er virkelig en skjult perle. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Endroit exceptionnel ! Seuls au bout du monde au dessus du fjord... Une des plus belles vues de notre séjour. Une jolie cabane construite par notre hôte. Très bien équipée et très joliment décorée. Mention spéciale aux WC dans une petite cabane indépendante à la vue imprenable sur le fjord :) Les hôtes sont accueillants, gentils et disponibles ! Meilleur hébergement de notre voyage !

Fantastisk opphold i en romslig og koselig hytte. Vi var 10 gjester, og hadde alt vi trengte! Verten svarte raskt, og var veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig. Kommer garantert tilbake!

We had a fantastic stay at Oddvar’s beautiful cabin; it had everything we needed and we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. The views from the hot tub and garden are incredible and very peaceful/private. The cabin was clean, tidy and felt very homely. We would certainly come back and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the local area, or explore further afield from such a lovely base home. Oddvar is a great host, good communication, responsive and friendly. 10/10 🙌🏻 Thank you!

Miejsce przepiękne, idealne do wypoczynku, wszystko zgodnie z ogłoszeniem a domek na żywo prezentował się jeszcze piękniej. Gospodarz bardzo miły, pożyczył nam sanki i bardzo szybko odpowiadał na wszelkie pytania. Serdecznie polecam

What a fantastic beautiful, full equipped and lovely decorated house. Amazing view and super private. Very good beds, great shower and perfect kitchen. For the ones that love peace and nature. Lovely super responsive and pro-active hosts. Highly recommended! We will sure be back some day for even a longer stay than just 5 days. The island is beautiful and peaceful, the nearest supermarket is some km away but has everything you need.

What an amazing location. The views from both inside and outside were stunning. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed apart. It was very quiet but with easy access to the main road. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Die Lage direkt am Fjord mit eigenem kleinen Steg ist traumhaft, und auch die Hütte selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sie ist wie auf den Bildern – charmant im liebevoll gepflegten Stil der 80er Jahre eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten bequem mit frischer, sauberer Bettwäsche. Viel Stauraum gibt es nicht. Wir waren zu viert – dafür war die Größe für fünf Nächte ideal. Mit 8 Personen wäre es recht eng, vielleicht passend für Familien mit Kindern. Alles, was eventuell kritisch sein könnte, wurde vom Gastgeber offen kommuniziert. Wir haben uns jederzeit wohlgefühlt und konnten uns bei Fragen an Kurt wenden – er antwortete schnell und freundlich. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

Johnny was a great host, you felt like nothing was too much trouble. The cosy cabin overlooked a stunning lake and Mountain View. Toasty warm and super shower.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Hütte. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Alles perfekt…wir kommen wieder.

We had a wonderful experience at this house near the lake. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled in the mountains and surrounded by lush greenery. It’s the perfect peaceful getaway if you love nature and scenic views. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic place to unwind!

This place was just great! It instantly feels cozy. Marianne and Roy managed to set up their garden so that there always is a Spot to sit in the sun (by the barbeque, by the fireplace, on the terrace, down by the water, ...). We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed fishing and the canoe a lot.

We logeerden 4 nachten in deze accommodatie met ons gezin met 3 kinderen. We waren onmiddellijk enorm onder de indruk van het fantastisch uitzicht en het heel gezellige huis. De keuken is goed uitgerust, de bedden zijn prima, de woonkamer is heel gezellig. De eerste dag maakten we een mooie wandeling naar de tegenoverliggende berg en ontmoetten daar een kudde schapen. De dagen daarop regende het heel veel, maar we hadden voldoende boeken en gezelschapsspelletjes bij. Ook bij regenweer verveelt het uitzicht nooit. De instructies om bij het huis te geraken zijn heel duidelijk, alsook om gas en elektriciteit in te schakelen. Geen minpunten! Een enorme aanrader!

Das Haus von Christoffer ist wunderbar, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Fjord. Um in das Haus zu kommen, muss man eine enge Straße ein paar hundert Meter nach oben fahren und dann vom Parkplatz aus zu Fuß nochmal etwa 8 min steil nach oben laufen. Koffer sind hier unpraktisch bzw. lassen sich nicht bsch oben tragen. Das macht die Lage und den Blick dann aber eben auch so einzigartig. Alles war genauso wie beschrieben. Christoffer war immer sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Ein super Gastgeber! Danke für eine tolle Woche hoch oben in den Bergen!

Gemütliche kleine Hütte. Wir haben spontan einen trockenen Schlafplatz gesucht, weil wir mit Motorrädern reisen. Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und einfach. Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der liebevoll eingerichteten gemütlichen Hütte von Berit. Sie ist sehr geräumig und toll gepflegt. Man hat einen tollen Blick ins Tal. Uns hat es super gefallen und wir kommen gern wieder.

Absolut perfekt. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt und wären ab liebsten noch 2 Wochen geblieben ! Das war die beste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war !

Geweldig! Een prachtige hut die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Een mooi uitzicht op het meer. Een zeer grote hut, waarbij aan alles is gedacht. Complimenten voor de communicatie. Dit verliep heel vlot en soepel. Bjarte en Marit bedankt!

Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had four wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the fjord and the landscape is stunning in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, the underfloor heating is pleasant, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. And you can admire a parade of cruise ships sailing to Flam and back. Communication with our hosts was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. Balestrand is an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Flam. Shopping facilities, bike rentals, and an electric car charging station are all available. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts. One more thing seems important to me: you can't drive directly to the house; the short path leads across a sloping meadow. My wife has a slight walking disability, so it worked. For people with more severe mobility restrictions, this may be difficult.
