Before it became a homestay, it was a small and famous Bake-off site (Baguang Kiln), which still retains the kiln and the high chimney is also a scenic line. Walking to the front are two small wooden doors near the roadside, which are a bit old. Upon entering the door, you will step on the Bake-off floor, which is very precious and only a small area in front of the door is paved. The corridor in front of the store next door and part of the outer wall are also paved with Bake-off tiles. Because the overall structure is wooden, the doors and windows are also made of quaint kraft paper. The moment you walk into the room, you can smell the fragrance of the tatami. Very Japanese style. This guest house was born in 2019 and is an 8-minute walk from JR Okayama Station. The exterior is Western-style, but there is also a Japanese-style room with a tea room. We'd like to connect people and help introduce the area. We can make various suggestions for trips to the scenic Setouchi islands. We'll help you with deep sightseeing in Setouchi. Also, within walking distance to many museums and one of Japan's three most famous gardens, "Korakuen". Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is 20 minutes by train, and you can take the Shinkansen for day trips to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, and Hiroshima. There is a kitchen/dining area and a full-Bath with western amenities and use of a washing machine on the 1st fl. The 2nd Floor provides 2 adjoining BR separated by shoji screen doors and also includes a half-bath.

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests.
