Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sokndal

We booked a house in Stein's for our wind turbine technicians. We spent three months there, Stein proved to be a wonderful host. Communication with him was always very fast and friendly. The house is as described and had everything our guys needed during their stay. They had a chance to relax and enjoy their time after work. I highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-kept house. The location is perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature — peaceful, quiet, and far from the noise of the city. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt very homey and welcoming. We didn’t find a corkscrew, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we would happily come back!

Cozy house, well equipped Warm when we arrived, and ready to use if needed. Fun with the goats welcoming us, and bragging happily when they got high and " peeling". Sitting outside around the fire pit is always nice☺️ A nice place to come back to😊

We had a perfect stay. The house was so wonderful and the nature surrounding it .. amazing! Find yourself, get lost in the quiet and lonely mountains … we didn’t want to leave.

We had a great stay. Cozy garden and roof terrace where both we and the dogs enjoyed ourselves. Older house but updated and modern inside. Extremely peaceful place. Beautiful Flekkefjord city center just a walk away. Hilde Karin was easy to communicate with, responded quickly. All in all a great stay in a lovely place. Here we would love to come again! 😊

Great place to stay! Guests had everything they might need for their stay and only had positive things to say about the space. Recommended to others who will be visiting and we would like to come back in the future.

Spacious, well equipped home in a quiet suburb of Flekkefjord. Easy private parking. the property was as clean as any normal house, with kitchen and bathroom spotless. Properly equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook full meals for a week. The covered balcony/deck area was delightful to eat outside. Alf was really responsive to questions, whilst never intruding. He left details of local shopping and things to do. This made an excellent base for a week exploring the area by motorcycle.

The pictures in the ad are great, but the place, the annex and the stay exceeded all expectations! The place is decorated with love, creativity and plenty of nice and fun details. Top standard with all the facilities you could wish for on a trip. We grilled food, fired up the fire pan, admired portals and lights in a fantastic garden with several "sections", took a fishing trip on the jetty/quay. Tone's service is a six - she is also a very pleasant and helpful host. This place is an oasis, where you can take life easy and enjoy life in very cozy and beautiful surroundings. Here we would love to come back!

We immediately felt comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean and as described. Manja and her husband are very nice hosts. Especially great was the friendly communication and the boat trip with Jan. These 2 nights were a nice addition to our trip. We definitely recommend this place and will be happy to come back, maybe soon. Thank you!

We felt very comfortable and well rested at the beautiful hobby farm with Karin and Torfinn. Very quiet, well-kept and idyllic, lovingly furnished. We were abundantly supplied with eggs from the farm's own chickens! There is much to discover in the area! The tips from Karin and Torfinn were particularly helpful. We were very pleased to have been in contact with you! Recommended all around - we will be happy to come back!

The cabin is ideally located in the heart of the rocks of the Magma coast, extremely quiet and peaceful, not overlooked, perfect for disconnecting on vacation or after a day of work. Little light pollution, when the weather is good, a perfect view of the stars and with a little luck, potential northern lights. The cabin is very well-equipped and comfortable. Children's games, hot tub and pool in summer, a paradise.

The accommodation was excellent, the amenities were of high quality. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the weather did not show its best side, but we were able to pass the time well with the games, books and the warming fireplace. Hans always had an open ear for us and answered our questions promptly. We had a nice, relaxing and interesting time with Hans and can only recommend this place and Hans as a host.

It was a wonderful trip. We love Norway and used the house as a home base to follow a lot of different activities. We went hiking, site exploring, to the museum, saw historic places and were even invited for a boat trip with the owners (thank you again, it was very pleasant). Norway introduced a new law a couple of years ago that without a boat license you can only sail boats under 10bhp. The one at the house is a 70bhp boat so we couldn't rent it. A shame but not essential to us. The house itself was beautifully seated a bit above the water but you could still throw a stone into the sea of you liked. The whirlpool gets warm and cozy and we enjoyed the warm water after a long day of walking. The upstairs bedroom can only be accessed by a narrow and open ladder/stairwell but downstairs was more than plenty room for us. The owners were very responsive and helpful, the contact a pleasure. We have enjoyed the accommodation quite a bit and hope to return in one of the future summers.

Excellent vacation spot! Beautiful view! What a chance to be able to enjoy the water to swim (a little cold), boat and fish. The garden is very nice and it is possible to eat outside in different places. The interior is very comfortable too. And Karin is very responsive and complacent. We recommend!

We had a great holiday in the beautiful house of Arild. The house is well located and very stylishly furnished. Everything was very attractively decorated and we enjoyed the time we were allowed to spend there. Especially great was the view through the large glass windows and the evenings by the cozy fireplace. Arild recommended us some nice hiking tours, which were great. I would like to highlight the really very well-equipped kitchen, which left nothing to be desired. Communication with Arild was very good. Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

The cottage is large and very comfortable and well-equipped! We had a problem to go up the way but Leila came right away and everything worked out. Leila is very welcoming. Recommended!

getting the accommodation was easy. Feel-good oasis, clean and cozy. The fact that the family uses the house itself was not a disadvantage. Small notes that we were allowed to use, for example, candles. We were not flooded with messages, just a message to see if everything is ok. Tron is a landlord that you would also like to meet personally. Very very nice!!!
