Monthly Rentals in Soldiers Grove

Wonderful small house to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is out in the country, so be prepared to bring items. I stayed at a perfect time. I was amazed that there were very few insects! The house was set back from the road, which isn’t very busy and has a low speed limit of 25mph. The ladder may be hard for some people to climb. Everything was in order, as described. A perfect host! Very proactive and helpful! The community is very close knit and very friendly! I did lock myself out a few times. The door locks behind you. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to visit. Just keep in mind, this is a little like “glamping” for those who are used to the city life. Enjoy the peace and quiet! :)

This place is amazing! The bar and restaurant downstairs is a great spot with awesome food, service and great vibes. The area is beautiful and the hosts were the nicest people ever!! I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone!! 12/10!!

I can't overstate how much we enjoyed this cabin. We decided to have a private few days away after our wedding on June 14 before we go on our big honeymoon in August, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The cabin was so cozy and peaceful with many charming wildlife visitors, tons to do both in the cabin (so many games!) and in the nearby towns, and everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay (shout out to the bug bucket - if you need bug spray they've got you covered). It was great that we didn't even have to leave the property to go on walks and get a taste of nature, with lots of trails just steps away and the beautiful river just across the road. Lastly, David and Vicki were the loveliest people and we appreciated their easy communication and flexibility. Highly highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at River’s Edge cabin which was spotless and well equipped. We were comfortable there and especially appreciated the surrounding property, trees, and solitude. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch most mornings - the rocking chairs with comfy cushions and blankets were a wonderful touch! The cabin is about 15 minutes from the town of Viroqua that had a good selection of restaurants, unique shops, and even grocery stores. There are also a couple of restaurants really close to the cabin. Communication was excellent, anytime we had a question or needed anything the host was quick to respond and always willing to help.
