The Artist Studio is just a 5 minute walk into the heart of downtown Southwest Harbor. We are a 5 minute drive to an Acadia Park entrance, a 20 min drive to Bar Harbor. Close to restaurants, Echo Lake for swimming, and a 5 minute walk to the Clark Point Town Dock for ferry boat rides to explore the islands! You’ll love my place because of the comfy beds, the high ceilings, the modern kitchen and island. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

It is spacious, bright and convenient, well kept the rare found of original tin ceiling in the bedroom. Right in downtown, walkable to everywhere, 5 min to Main Street, Island explorer free bus stop, Village Green, library, museum, historical churches. 2 min to kids playground. 10 min to water front with easy access to many restaurants and more.

Oceanfront cabin perched on the edge of Dyer Bay surrounded by large cedar and spruce trees. A perfect retreat nestled in a quiet, private neighborhood off the beaten path. This is where you get away from it all, and enjoy proximity to all the best of Downeast. The view is spectacular, and wildlife abounds. Watch the lobster boats work their traps just in front of the house. Not appropriate for small children. Sorry, NO PETS , we're allergic :-(

Pretty Marsh Cottage

This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach. Just a short drive to all that Acadia National Park has to offer!

Charming 2 bedroom traditional wooden cabin situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land. Walk right from the cottage to access the carriage roads and the Giant Slide Trail which leads up Sargeant Mountain.

Chickadee Suite Super Clean! Only 1 mile to Acadia

The Chickadee Suite is one mile from Acadia National Park. our suites have very comfortable King Size beds in the bedroom and a double size futon in the living room. It is a private Suite with its own private entrance. We keep our vacation rentals very clean. We keep them the way we would want it if we were renting them for our vacation.
