Oasis on the countryside near Hamburg

Northwest of Hamburg in the beautiful Schleswig Holstein lies our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with a stove, oven and fridge, a shower bathroom and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Horst's time-out

Meine Auszeit Horst stands for real picture-book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the peace and quiet, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach and a delicious snack and matching refreshments in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. distance is the Horster train station. There is a parking lot and bicycle parking spaces here.

The 60 sqm apartment is located in the attic of a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac location in the outskirts of Hamburg. I live on the ground floor. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach Hamburg in about 40 minutes. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.

The detached apartment is located in Kellinghusen in the immediate vicinity of the Stör and the Aukrug Nature Park. The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offer many opportunities for outdoor activities, such as canoeing trips and bike rides. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is nearby. The train station of Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.

Welcome to our small and lovingly furnished thatched cottage "Kleine Auszeit." Here between the moor and the Elbe, you can really enjoy your well-deserved vacation. The wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue invites you to linger. If you feel like taking a canoe tour, our canoe is at your disposal, because opposite our cottage there is a canal on which you can drive around a little between meadows and fields.

Enjoy the peace of mind at this charming thatched-roof home. The A23 exit Elmshorn-Horst is only 5 minutes away – Hamburg's center can be reached in 30 minutes, the airport in 20. For excursions, the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea are just an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you. Your nest in Horst: Quiet, clean and practical 2-room apartment, 2nd upper floor, in a beautiful little village north of HH. Ample parking is available, five minutes by car to Horst train station, eight minutes to the A 23 and approx. 40 minutes to HH Mitte. Bus stop, fitness center and supermarket within a two-minute walk and your own train station in Horst about 20 minutes.
