There are opportunities for lovely walks in the area. It is about 12 km to Kolding and Fredericia. Shopping about 6 km. We have a peaceful German shepherd (Boris) who loves to have visitors.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Føns is the place where there have always been people

Beam house! so a real cottage/summer house, where it oozes with grandma's coziness! No TV, but plenty of books and games. (There is a good 4G connection). It is cozy when the wood stove is lit, the house can also be heated with the heat pump, heating can be started before arrival. With 200 meters down to Fønsvig, where there is a beach, as well as a small bathing bridge, where you can just grab a morning dip. If you like fishing, you can go out and catch plaice or other fish species.

Beach holiday apartment with a unique ocean view

Staying in our 75 square meter vacation apartment gives our guests a very special sense of vacation. When you open doors and windows, the sounds of the forest, the garden and the sea birds flow in. A scent of fresh sea air meets your nostrils. Our guests also experience the light as something very special. Especially when the evening sun sends its rays down on the surrounding islands, you have to pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming.

We are an older couple, who are renting out our flat near the exclusive Binderup Strand only 10 minutes from Kolding. The flat is located on a hill, in a green historical area, with a direct view to the sea and with only 100 meter to a beach, and where grocery shopping also is possible.
